Still say No..
Quite a narrow minded view you have there ORANGATUANG. Just saying 'no' without any explanation doesn't really add anything to the argument now does it?
I stand by my original argument that Seagal should return with Julius Nasso. His rise has continued as he is now attached to produce a film version of the Swiss folk hero William Tell for a 2012 release. The film, entitled William Tell: 3D will star Brendan Fraser and have a $27m budget and it is a real shame that Seagal isn't involved in a production like this, especially considering his recent return to cinemas in Machete (2010).
I also believe that my other point in this thread still stands. Seagal's refusal to be involved in The Expendables (2010) and The Expendables 2 (2012) because they are produced by Nu Image and Avi Lerner, who Seagal has bad blood with, is just not good business sense. They are simply not the company they used to be and have firmly moved into more mainstream cinema releases and away from low budget action films. Since 2006 they have produced Street Kings (2008) starring Keanu Reeves, Righteous Kill (also 2008) starring Al Pacino and Robert De Niro, the remake of The Mechanic (2011) starring Jason Statham and Drive Angry (also 2011) starring Nicholas Cage. Upcoming titles include Medallion (2012) again starring Nicholas Cage, Trespass (2011) directed by Joel Schumacher, Lay the Favorite and Fire with Fire (both 2012)starring Bruce Willis, Freelancers (also 2012) starring Robert De Niro, The Frozen Ground (2014)starring Nicholas Cage and John Cusack and Broken City (also 2014) starring Russell Crowe and Mark Wahlberg. Machete proved last year that Seagal can still cut it in a cinema release. With budgets and co-stars like these films have, who knows where the final phase of Seagal's career could lead?
