invisible mode?

I do not have the option in my user CP to sign in as invisible. Has this been discussed somewhere and I have just missed it or what?

Pur, It was an option in your CP under "edit options." "WAS" for me....I kind of liked it. Keep up the mystery of "Where are they now????" LOL.... I enjoyed the privacy it gave.

Well, I'm not sure what's happening here; probably Craig is looking into it. I can see the options fine, and so can some others.

Have you checked to see if you have javascript enabled on your browsers? I think Craig suggested this might be an issue as to why you might be missing these options.

If you want invisible mode send me a private message and i'll activate it through the admin-cp for you. I've no idea why it's not showing under the user-cp.

Have already put you invisible Jules.

Seems to me the "invisible mode" option is in a slightly different location than it was before. Mine is under "Edit Options", then the very first section, which is "Login & Privacy". The first options are these:

Use Invisible Mode. Invisible mode allows you to browse the forums without appearing in the 'Currently Active Users' lists.
___Use Invisible Mode

___ Allow vCard Download. You may choose to allow other users to download a vCard containing your email address and username.

Craig: Any way to add back "Who's Chatting" under "Quick Links"?
No problem if not. :) Always a pleasant surprise. :D

Like another person said, what is the point of all these changes if no one is posting?

Not to sound selfish just to bring up another point.

But Craig like I said before this is great and we are very thankfull.

The off topic section was the heart and soul of the forum. With out that we wouldn't know anything about the Seagal fans from all over the world. With that section we were able to call each and every one of you Friends, instead of merley just a User at a Seagal fan site.

How is that? I've also removed the user pages as it seems to be very buggy for now.

You used to have it set up where if we clicked on "Quick Links", there was a link for seeing who was in the chatroom at that moment, without actually needing to enter into the chat. That link is no longer available through Quick Links, nor do I see it anywhere else?

You should now have a drop down to the left of 'quiz'. It will also show there like this [ 2 ] if 2 users are in the chat room.

Very cool!! Thanks, Craig. :)
And I didn't even know we had a "Quiz" link here.
Guess I still have a few more posts to catch up on from this week, eh? :D

Javascript is a little program that runs with internet applications that lets you do things inside webpages and sites and forums like this one (ultra-simplified explanation).

To enable Javascript, if you're running netscape 7.1, under Edit>Preferences, click on Advanced.

At the top of the dialog box, you'll see "Features that help interpret web pages" and below it, the option "Enable Java". If it's not checked off, then that might be your problem. Check it off, and restart your computer, and then sign on the site and see if you can see the missing options.

Craig, something a bit weird; there's one thread that I read and it goes off my list as "read", and the next time I sign on it's back again - with no new posts. It just won't go away...

The thread is "What Are Your Expectations For Today You Die?" and the last actual post was August 24th, but it keeps coming back as being recently updated, for example, right now it's showing that it was updated at 6:49 a.m. this morning.

???????????
