everything you said is completely true-only a fool would compare two martial artists of two differences but the problem with fools is that idiocy is contagious and forever people will say ali v tyson, seagal v van damme, lennox lewis v rocky marciano etc etc
i have no doubt Seagal was very arrogant about himself and his abilities, hanging around Julius Nasso certainly helped with that. As for Van Damme, i have seen footage of him partying and drunk and the worse for wear and he is capable of saying and doing anything at a given moment.
i think its a question of bygones be bygones
it does concern me that Seagal is a self hallucinatory fantasy where he thinks he can get away with making films of such poor quality whilst not even looking after his own self; this isnt an overweight martial artist making brilliant action movies [ i wudnt care how big he was look at Sammo Hung] but its the fact that they are so damn awful and that there is no aikido
