i heard a rumour that in "Hard to Kill " the house that steven and future ex-wife kelly le brock stayed at (while mason was recuperating ) was in fact steven own house ......


Can anyone confirm this ??

hate to be a nusiance but can you back that up for me , as it is the subject of a bet with a friend , as he says there's no way steven would of let his house be torn apart like that ......

I have often wondered about that too, and decided that it was pretty highly possible, but who knows really...
I looks like they did tear it up pretty bad in the one scene with all the shooting and table crashing...
He has quite a few homes I'm sure...That could be one of them...
If you check out the gallery, you will see photos of some Dharma and Aikido happenings at his home, and perhaps will notice that the the same style of white fence is present outside, that they crash the jeep through in the film...I think that type of fence is pretty popular in general, though, I see lots of them around here, even...

Well I can't say for sure if this was his house or not-but I would think that if it was there would be SOMETHING on the internet regarding it,& I didn't find anything

Also, you'd think that Steven's real house would be gigantic. That was a fairly modest house - albeit on some nice property!!

Seagal is familiar with many different cultures, not just Japanese culture. For example, I understand he's pretty knowledgable in Chinese medicine.

Yes, and didn't he say to the media, that he had Chinese roots? Also some of the Martial arts he studied like Kung Fu, are Chinese, right?

Lotus, I didn't know he ever said he had Chinese roots. You mean he said he was of Chinese ethnicity?

I was of the belief that he was half Jewish (mother), half Irish (father).

He never said he was of Chinese ethnicity that I know of...
In fact, now that you mention it, I think what he said was that he had Russian and Mongolian roots
(I think this is way back when roots) if the story wasn't a rumour (he supposedly mentioned this to the press)

I was reading the Taoism book I have, and I must have had China on my brain or something, I guess...
Color me embarrassed! I have heard all sorts of things about his ethnicity though, like he's part Italian, or part Native American...
All could be true...Or not...
I don't think anyone really knows but him...
I think he's just delicious, no matter what...
A wonderful combination, whatever he may be...

Before I knew his true ethnicity, I always thought he had some Japanese in him. I mean those eyebrows look like they belong on an ancient Samurai warrior...

I am not sure but they used only garden, front of the door and enterence at Steven’s house in the movie hard to kill. I guess little house decorated for this movie. Actually he knows how Chinaise and Japanese people decoretes house. Too many items were broken there. He never uses private euthantic items for this.

Also I never believe that Steven is Half Jewish and half Irish. I believe that his father’s roots coming from Altaanbualag in Middle Asia. He explained this in the Moscow when he visited President Putin at last month. He looks like alot of them. Finally, My personal opinion : his mother is coming from Italian and father is coming from Middle Asia.
