Since you're into rap/hip-hop thing, what do you know about DMX's "Here We Go Again" release? When will it happen? Last thing you said was that it was put on hold. The stores here didn't have it on the release date, and still don't. So what's up, do you know?

To stick to topic as per current laws - 50 Cent is a cool dude. Not my kinda rapper though.

DMX is probably my favorite rapper alive, but it was supposed to be released early July, then late July, then now it has been pushed back even farther. No news yet but rumor has it he is having trouble with his record label. But I will research it and find out for you and me Yudansha. Thanks for asking. ;)

It was originally supposed to be released on July 19, but it has been prosponed untill further notice, I believe the lack of promotion since no single or video was released to promote it even thought they had the album release date scheduled. Untill further notice the album will be put on hold.

50 Cent Mocks Ja Rule, Nas, Fat Joe, Cassidy, Jadakiss and Game In Latest Video!!

For a record considered to be just a warning shot, 50 Cent's "Piggy Bank" continues to have the largest ripple effect of any rap song this year. Last week Nas finally responded to the cut, and this week 50 issued a video mixtape that includes a

full-length clip for the song.

The video is animated and starts with three boys walking down "Beaver Street" when one of them stops at an arcade. The kid is infatuated with a game called "Rapper Knockout," which stars 50 Cent as a ring king beating opponents to a pulp. The video then takes a look inside the video game as 50 squares off against Fat Joe. The animated Joe is afraid to go the ring at first, and gets pummeled when he finally enters.

The same fate holds true for an animated Jadakiss, which Fif imagines dressed up like a Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle — complete with Raphael's red mask and a slice of pizza — wearing a belt with a buckle that says "Jada."

Later, 50 depicts Game as a Mr. Potato Head doll with a "Wanksta" headband and Cassidy as a young kid wearing a pink hoodie with "I'm a Hustler" embroidered on it. Cass gets punched in the stomach by two kids. In a separate scene, another kid is seen wearing Superman's tights and cape while running down the street. Instead of the Man of Steel's S, he has a red logo of Nas' name on his chest and is chasing a "Milkshake" truck before jumping at the vehicle and falling flat on his face.

Images From 50 Cent's "Piggy Bank" Video

"Piggy Bank" is one of 21 videos slated to be included in a special-edition reissue of The Massacre, which is due on September 6 (see "50 Says He Doesn't Have Beef With Game"). Fif has made a video for every song on his album (the original version of "Outta Control" will be replaced with the Mobb Deep remix) including "Gunz Come Out," in which plenty of heavy artillery will be brandished, and "In My Hood," which shows Fif waking through the neighborhood.

50 has a real video game called "Bulletproof," which has nothing to do with his rap beef, due on November 15. This coming Tuesday 50 will release his autobiography, "From Pieces to Weight." In the meantime, Fif continues to travel the country as part of the Anger Management 3 Tour (see "Eminem, 50, Lil Jon, G-Unit, D12 Team Up For Anger Management 3 Tour This Summer"). He'll perform for the first time at Madison Square Garden in his hometown on Monday and Tuesday.

Oh brother. And this fool sold more than Beatles? Disgrace to mankind. Shyne already shut his mouth on For The Record. Jadakiss, Ja Rule, Fat Joe, and Styles P all did a great job at pushing him against the wall. Nas dug his grave with his latest song. Now lets wait for his second Ether like Track to put 50 in to his grave.

But you don't have to agree with me. Your opinion is your opinion.

I agree to a certain extent. But don't get me wrong, who is it we are seeing constantly on tv and hearing on radio, it's 50.

And I heard Nas's latest diss track, I love Nas and he is one of the best MC'S but that was a weak track man, 50 said Nas is out of his element, in a way I think that was true because it is no where near the lyrical standouts as Ether was..

I'm not into 50 cent but do like Eminem,Ice Cube and even the odd one from Dmx! "Where's the hood at?" is one of my favourite rap songs, but he's still that nob who slagged off Steven in Exit Wounds after..

50 Cent is popular I am not arguing this. But world has changed and so have people's expectations. They are much lower now I like to think. That's why he is so widely accepted. But I do not have the time to start an argument over 50 Cent. I have more self respect and common sense so I will leave this at that.

That Track was quite good. Ether quality well no. Nas stated repeatedly that his next Track will be ala Ether. This track was just the warm up. He is following in his own footsteps when he battled Jay Z.

50 Cent Signing Early Copies of His Book.

50 Cent Signing Early Copies of His Book
by: John Kennedy
Fri, August 5th, 2005

In honor of the release of his autobiographical narrative, “From Pieces To Weight: Once Upon A Time In Southside Queens,” 50 Cent will autograph the first 300 purchases of his book at Virgin Megastore in Union Square, Manhattan on Aug. 9.

This will be 50’s first book signing, as his book hits stores everywhere Aug 16. The signing will begin promptly at 11:00 AM, although those who get special attention from 50’s pen will probably have arrived much earlier.

“From Pieces To Weight: Once Upon A Time In Southside Queens” is a brutally honest account of the trials and tribulations that 50 endured on the New York City streets that made him the tough-talking megastar he is today. The book discusses everything from 50’s hustling beginnings, to the murder of his mother when he was only 8 years old, to his own near-assassination, to his unbelievable rise to superstardom.

Aside from his book, 50 also has a semi-autobiographical movie called “Get Rich Or Die Tryin,” which is coming to movie theaters Nov. 11. Quincy Jones has recently come on board to work closely with 50, director Jim Sheridan, and others to create original music for the film.

In addition, the re-release of his sophomore album, “The Massacre,” is slated to hit stores on Sept. 6 and his video game, “Bulletproof,” will be released on Nov. 15.

In the meantime, you can catch 50 on “The Anger Management Tour,” with Eminem, G-Unit, Lil' Jon & the East Side Boys.

It’s safe to say that 50 Cent is the hardest working man in show business.

Rapper DMX may face more charges
09:32 AEST Tue Aug 9 2005
AAP
AP - The rapper DMX has been charged with violating the conditions of his release following a car crash last year at John F Kennedy International Airport.

He has been cited twice for traffic violations in the past year, one involving an accident that injured two police officers.

DMX, whose real name is Earl Simmons, pleaded guilty in Queens Criminal Court last December to reckless endangerment and admitted he was taking Valium when he smashed his sport utility vehicle into a gate at Kennedy Airport on June 24, 2004, after telling a parking lot attendant he was a federal agent.

Simmons, 34, was sentenced to a conditional discharge, meaning further violations within a year could land him in jail. He also was fined and ordered to forfeit his $US13,000 ($A17,038.01) sport utility vehicle.

One week after that sentence, Simmons was charged with driving a car at 167 km/h, Queens District Attorney Richard A Brown said.

On April 15, he was arrested after his car was involved in a three-car accident in the Bronx that injured two police officers driving in an unmarked car.

Simmons' driver's license had either been suspended or revoked in each incident, Brown said.

Simmons did not cause the injuries to the officers and had been on his way to the hospital to see his wife when the accident occurred, his lawyer, Murray Richman, said Monday.

Richman called the new charge "a non case" and said it was extremely unusual for prosecutors to revisit a case in this manner.

Simmons posted $US500 ($A655.31) bail at a hearing Monday and has to return to court for an October 11 hearing.

He could face up to one year in jail if a judge determines he violated the conditions of his release.

All Hip Hop.com 50 Cent Interview.

50 Cent's empire is under siege. Clearly, the lyrical assault by various posses, crews and cliques has been a partial construct of the Southside, Queens native. Although his adversaries have come back at him as if they were avenging a brother's death , Fiddy's gate has withstood the battering and thrived amidst the adversity. He's lost The Game, but gained M.O.P. and Mobb Deep. Critics never fully warmed up to The Massacre, yet the effort continues to move units in bulk.

Although he may be condemned for being disingenuous, 50 isn't misguided. His moves are calculated. The 29-year-old is resolute in his goals and that translates into success for himself and those around him. Forever quizzical, AllHipHop.com asked 50 about his game of chess, multiple beefs, new friends and how he prevents his fortress from being leveled.

AllHipHop.com: Where is your head at right now? You've got a lot to be happy about.

50 Cent: You know what it is, today, like I woke up this morning, right, and I feel like, you know, I got a chance to really think. See because I got up early and everything that's going on, like you know how you wake up before business hours? You get a clear head. It's the time I like to actually speak to the people who I delegate responsibilities to. Everybody has to be huge, around me. There is no artist under 50 Cent. Everybody's just around me. We understand our positions and that's what defines who is in the boss seat.

AllHipHop.com: And how is everybody?

50 Cent: Both Banks and Buck have some offers right now; I started executive producing films - so that'll be the chance to see me involved in it behind the scenes while they're actually acting as their selves.

AllHipHop.com: In lieu of the trials and such, how is Buck holding up?

50 Cent: Aw, Buck is a great man, great spirit. Every night we've been forming, you know, happily, you know, god willingly, everything will work its way out. You know, you've got little issues, but that was all on the shelf.

AllHipHop.com: What about Mobb Deep. What about them attracted you?

50 Cent: Well, yeah I've always been a Mobb Deep fan [and] I had the opportunity to actually make them a priority on my list of things to promote. It doesn't make any sense for me to just go out and make records. If an opportunity comes for me to do business with them when it makes sense to me I'll jump to the opportunity. You know, and with Mobb Deep particularly, they've been putting out good music since, wow, like six, five, six albums?

AllHipHop.com: Well, what about M.O.P. Even Dame recently expressed ideas that they were still signed to him?

50 Cent: Yeah, well, you know, some people just don't they don't want to let go. Dame realized he lost in that situation. M.O.P.s talent, like some of the lyrical content matches my albums, the M.O.P. record. It's just, well the difference is the market and the promotion. And I feel like I've done a great job of marketing myself to the point that my first album, every album that's been released through me period, has scanned over 1.5 million records.

AllHipHop.com: How do you intend to market them? That's a challenge?

50 Cent: I put them in the gym. As far as that, there's certain things that you know. Like I've watched artists and I pay attention to the game, period. I watched D'Angelo put out a bad album, and it sold because he was in condition. The song itself was called Untitled for Christ's sake. It's those dramatic changes so it's obvious. If you can physically forget about music. Forget about whatever you know about music, right. And just turn to yourself for a second. Generally speaking about women, right, if a woman can look at you and say she likes you before you open your mouth. As soon as you say the right thing to her it's a go. I feel like if generally people look at you and like what you're saying before you open you're mouth, when you say the right thing they go, I like him.

AllHipHop.com: What about the M.O.P. sound? That was always a discussion-topic while the Roc album brewed?

50 Cent: Well, I take the ante up. I can take records, you know, they got classic material already that they're ahead of me doing the deal with them. It's like I don't want to alter who they are creatively as an artist. Because what they've done in the past is what made them appealing to me. So, you know, I want them to create the right records and I'll help, I mean, I'm executive producing the album so I'm going to go pick and make the record, they're going to have the best producers in the world on the album. They've definitely got materials, Dr. Dre, Eminem, The Neptunes, Timbaland. As they enter the formats that their music hasn't made it to before, like Top 40 and Pop radio, which has been that similar, look, Game's record wouldn't have sold what it sold, if I wasn't on it.

AllHipHop.com: What was your response to Summer Jam and 300 Bars?

50 Cent: I don't respond to it. I'm not going to respond to it. Let me explain something to you, this is a guy that I went out of my way to work on this project because of my relationship with Dr. Dre. We're splitting the 50% of the profits on Game's album with Dr. Dre. You know, and I did what I had to do to make the project successful and then what you find afterwards is you start to see in his character that he thinks in like a new XXL he's saying it. Hes saying, I'm the man. What he's going to find out is the only record that's harder to make than your first one is your second one.

AllHipHop.com: The pressure is high for artists these days.

50 Cent: And when he goes into it without any support from me or anybody around me, because he's been so disrespectful to everything that we stand for, then he's on his own. He's going to find himself by himself, you know what I'm saying? And in Dre's situation, if Dre moved forward to support him creatively, I feel like he was supporting him all the way. Because there's some, like, he had to get his input. There's two parties. Everybody else is signed to 50 Cent. I actually set up his press so he can say disrespectful things about me. But I won't sabotage. I'll watch him destroy himself.

AllHipHop.com: What about Jimmy Henchmen? You know, because of the street background and the outspoken attitude, some people expected you two to end up allied?

50 Cent: You know what, let me tell you something all right. I can care less, like I can care less, like I have no issues with street s**t. The way you handle your business, it's important that you do it the right way, you know what I'm saying? If you've got people who don't actually understand it, and feel like they can do whatever they want because they've got a certain type of aura around them [it's not good business]. It's like Black History [Month] every month for these kind of people - they're living off this s**t that happened ten, fifteen years ago. Half of this s**t didn't even do it themselves, it just was credited to them. So that s**t doesn't move me, not even a little bit.

AllHipHop.com: A lot of money was spent in the G-U NOT campaign?

50 Cent: After his actions, you know what I mean, following that. Trust me, if he put his bank account in a publication, I would disclose how much finances I had just to show you the difference. He thinks that being just special towards me is going to establish him. But what it does is, it proves to corporate America he's still the idiot that he was ahead of time. Because you don't see me say anything negative about him. And what I was looking forward to from the project that I was involved in with him was being able to donate the proceeds to charity.

AllHipHop.com: Speaking of finances and that, how has The Massacre enhanced you?

50 Cent: I don't think anybody who has plans to be successful should plan to go through what I'm going through. Money changes things, man. And the person who tells you that finances don't change you, if money don't change you, it's because you're not making enough. Because it will change you, you know what I'm saying? It will change your thought process because as you become successful you're going to act with a circle that is more successful. They think on a higher level. [Success] ain't an accident.

AllHipHop.com: Nas recently put out Don't Body Yourself. Did you see that coming?

50 Cent: You know what, I'm gonna tell you: in all honesty when I released [Piggy Bank] and I heard [the various responses] I heard Jadakiss say some things, you know what I'm saying? And the general public hadn't said one word about Nas, right? And this is a credible MC, at one point. Now, you get the implication of the general public feeling like he doesn't count right now. Because the first thing they would say is, Oh, what do think Jada gonna do or what you think Fat Joe? do you see what I'm saying? They didn't even put him in the loop. They wasn't saying, What you think Nas is going to do? because his last album was so bad they didn't even care. You know, and even his choice of music from the response, it's not enough. It's not good enough.

50 Cent Gets Back-Up From "Dem Boyz," NYPD Steps Up Security At MSG.

The NYPD is sending detectives to Madison Square Garden to ensure 50 Cent's safety during his two New York appearances on the Anger Management 3 tour.

Starting last night, the NYPD was on hand to make sure everything runs smooth. The NYPD declined to comment on the details of security arrangements. Yet, Inspector Michael Coan, a department spokesman, revealed that there would be "adequate" security during the two concerts.

Prior to yesterday's show, police sources told the New York Post that the NYPD Gang Division was likely to send in at least six detectives and a sergeant in hope to prevent any potential trouble. Members of the NYPD's Intelligence Division are reaching out to industry insiders in hopes to uncover clues on potential violence during the shows. Yesterday, the Intelligence Division was slated to brief detectives on important things to look for during the concerts.

Members of the division have been keeping in touch with sources in Los Angeles, Miami, Philadelphia and other major urban communities to see if anyone has a feud with 50 and might take the show as an opportunity to attack the rapper. According to The Post, the NYPD is concerned with 50's violent past. The former hustler was stabbed inside Hit Factory back in 2000 and was shot nine times near his grandmother's Queens home months later.

Recently, 50 told London's The Independent, "I've seen Biggie Smalls get shot — in the car. I've seen Tupac Shakur get shot — in the car. I got shot — in the car. People are comfortable shooting — in the car. So, I bullet-proofed the car."

A more detailed article of Banks and Buck's arrest.

Littledragon said:
G-Unit rappers Lloyd Banks and Young Buck were released without bail today (Aug. 9) following their arrest on felony gun possession charges after a concert in Manhattan.

Lloyd Banks, whose real name is Chris Lloyde, and Young Buck, whose real name is David Brown, were riding in a van with 10 other men that allegedly ran a red light at about 11:30 p.m. last night near the corner of West 41st Street and Eighth Avenue, authorities said.
Police said one of the 12 men was carrying a loaded handgun and another weapon was found on the floor of the van. All of the occupants were charged with gun possession.

Lloyde, 23, and Brown, 24, had just performed at nearby Madison Square Garden as part of the Anger Management 3 tour. Their lawyer, Scott Leemon, declined to comment.

Following their Anger Management 3 performance on Monday night at New York's Madison Square Garden, which ended with Young Buck's parting shot "F--- the police!," Buck, Lloyd Banks and their entourage had a run-in with the men in blue that resulted in 13 arrests.

According to a spokesperson for the NYPD, Buck, 24, and Banks, 23 (real names David Brown and Christopher Lloyd, respectively), were traveling in a van with 11 other men when their vehicle was pulled over at 41st Street and Eighth Avenue in Manhattan for allegedly running a red light. Upon inspection, two guns were found.

Police said they recovered a .357 handgun from Steven Roker, a member of the entourage, and he was charged with criminal possession of a weapon. They also alleged there was a loaded .40 caliber gun on the floor of the van and everyone in the vehicle was charged with criminal possession of a weapon for that firearm. Another passenger, Darryl Lighty, was charged with obstructing governmental administration, resisting arrest and disorderly conduct.

On Tuesday afternoon (August 9) a spokesperson for the Manhattan district attorney's office said it was quite possible that Banks and Buck would miss Tuesday night's Anger Management show at the Garden, but both appeared as scheduled. Early on, Buck remarked "I'm back," and later, during the song "Playboy," Banks told the crowd, "I just spent the night in jail. Y'all better put your hands up!" At the end of the night, Buck said, "Ain't a mutha------' thing changed. It's still f--- the police! And I ain't going to jail, either."

According to authorities, Ronald Knight, 20; Eugene Cedric, 26; Dante Reed, 27; Clinton Skinner, 41; Terry Biles, 35; Paul McFarlane, 29; Terrence LaJuan, 29; Curtis Williams, 29; and Paris Fowler, 22, were also arrested Monday night.

Representatives for the G-Unit had no comment.
