People in Florida and the Carribean Islands desparately need any money you can give to CARE, Salvation Army, Red Cross, or your own choice of charity. The need is so huge!!!!!! They are living in polluted mud, power is most often off and their is NO safe water.

I'm in a bit of trouble because right out of the hospital I went to the bank and sent more than my budget will really afford. If you'd seen this mess you would have done the same thing. Guess I've written off Christmas. But I bake Cody's dog bones because they ar e more nutritous and cost less. I'll just put a ribbon of one. The rest of the family will get a note they helped people instead of a present. Everyone in this house has to many "things" anyway.

Of course having the visiting nurse phone 3 of my 8 docs to tell on me that Cody and I were walking in the woods got me in trouble too. I let them assume I only walked about the length of a city block. Cody and I are walking two miles a day. Shhhhh!

She's just ticked because she didn't find me home in bed.

This is so typical of your generous nature, Hallarian. :) At work we took up a collection around the floor and donated it to the Red Cross. I think it's a good idea to get something going like this through a workplace, if at all possible. Many people don't feel the little they're able to contribute will make any difference--which is totally incorrect!--and feel better about it when theirs is part of a larger sum. Truthfully, any amount people can spare to a reputable relief agency is much needed and greatly appreciated.

Glad to see you're enjoying your Alaskan autumn with Cody! :) Don't pay those visiting nurses any attention--we know how nurses can be. :D You know your own body and I'm sure will not push yourself beyond your limits--right?! :D Take care of yourself, Hallarian. :)
