Dunno if I posted here, but you folks know me by now, haha. Since 1998 I've got a fanpage about Steven Seagal and in the beginning also aikido and Renault. For about 10 years I'm practicing aikido, mainly because of Steven Seagal which movies I saw on tv and video. I always wanted to practice some MA but couldn't decide what. It had to be something different (my character). I read a beginnerscourse from a local aikidoclub and decided to take some starterslessons. After two years I felt like getting somewhere with aikido even though I'm ''easily boared'' with almost anything, can't keep up with it, but with aikido its different obviously (for anyone who knows what aikido is all about).

The website changed a lot through the years mainly because of the new webdesignlanguages and techniques and lately my use of php which is very handy for ''database'' stuff (or mysql for that matter) and the use of styles (css) which, when used properly, makes webdesign a ''breeze''. Also I put some Google Adsense in it which doesn't make me a miljonair of course but it helps slightly to keep the website online. A recent change of provider saves me some money as well and makes it easier for me to keep the website up and running. Its for the fans of Steven Seagal!

I've still got one question: is the website www.stevenseagal.com the real official website 'cause the webshop is offline for quite some time and there is not much going on there. Even my request to have a link to my website was not possible. I don't know if mr. Seagal doesn't want it or whatever but in the end its not that important. My website stays and will get updates and renewal from time to time. I'm hoping to get more response from the fans, i.e. more postings, input and such. But, on this stable forum (www.steven-seagal.net) there is not much more to ask for, its really quite ''ready''.

Thats it from me at this time, keep in touch.

Actually Turboman, if you follow the postings here there was a fellow who indicated that he was working on a new website for SS. This was some months back and personally I had hoped to see some announcement by now of a replacement for the old website.

I noticed in one of the recent publicity blurbs that Steven Seagal did for The Geek Squad where he said his own website was "down". There was nothing said about when it would be up and running again and I believe any comments/requests to that site go nowhere at this time - in other words, no one is maintaining it. Unfortunately, I feel Mr. Seagal feels just a bit too comfortable with this site maintaining his fan base and keeping them that arms length away with no trouble or effort on his part. If this is the case, he should be very ashamed of himself for neglecting those who support him and cutting them off from any contact with him, and failing to promote his latest venue. Such an opportunity sadly missed.
