Under Siege 3

You are right Leon. Steven will be busy enough with all those other movies. To make a good US3 the budget would have to be there and a lot of his time. I personally would not like to see US3 written and directed so fast because another movie is in the making.

Is Regency a Warner Bros company? Because I'm certain the Under Seige property belongs to Warner Bros exclusively, unless they're a subsidiary or prepared to pay a serious chunk of change for the rights (which I doubt).

No. I'm with Leon - I'll believe US3 when it's released.

Here is an article which mentions US3, this article was originally in french...Sorry for the bad translation, I had to use the altavista translator....

Andrew Davis finds Steven Seagal
Turnings, May 06, 2002

The American scenario writer Andrew Davis will carry out the third opus series "Under Siege", which will be produced and interpreted by Steven Seagal.

Muscular reunion in prospect. Andrew Davis, realizer of Fugitive, agreed to turn Under Siege 3, third opus of the series of Under Siege. The first two films of the series, Traps in open sea and Piège at high speed, revealed the actor Steven Seagal as new a film star of action.

The two men had already collaborated in 1992 on Piège in open sea, where Andrew Davis directed the actor. If J.F. Lawton, scenario writer of the two first opus, will return for the occasion, Steven Seagal will endorse for its part the cap of the producer on this third shutter. However, its participation as an actor remains dubious, no date of turning nor no casting not having still been specified.

The last film of Andrew Davis, Collateral ramming with Arnold Schwarzenegger, is awaited on the French screens on next 3 July.

Lotus, this is obviously old news and Andrew Davis has made it clear he has nothing to with this project...if this project has something to with itself at all

Regency

Regency is indeed a Warner Bros offshoot and they've released many big films, I seem to recall they are the blue and white logo which appears before the Warner one with the Robin Hood Prince of Thieves music over it. I'm pretty sure Under Siege 2 was with Regency, they are a big name in movies.
