Just came from an exam, and ... well, I thought I'd drop in for a minute or two. This thread sounds like it's got great potential for some very funny stuff to be said - HONESTLY
LOL Tora "And I hope I'm not being too horny asking this. But even if I am,I'll be back to ask this question again." - way to express yourself there Tora!
If I could vote (that is if I was American), personally, I'd vote for Bush in this case. It just sounds like although Bush may not be the smartest guy out there (and let's face it...) he has a great staff working for him and basically making decisions for him that are well thought out. Nobody can predict the true outcome of how you deal with the situation - even if you think your move is full-proof, there's always going to be somebody to challenge what you did. The thing is, not everybody has the guts to do what Bush did. The "other guy" (that's what I'll be calling Bush's opponent) sounds like a sissy to me ... sorry, but that's my view of him ... who would never have gone the way 'Bush' (or should I say, Bush's right hand people who do the decision making for him) has gone in making a stand against terrorism and so quickly and efficiently. Bush isn't the brightest nor does he himself know what to do all the time, but he can approve and go ahead with the things he believes in accomplishing and that's what I think the president should do - instead of sitting back and waiting for the things to cool down before starting to make some sort of a plan about dealing with repairing the situation. What Bush has accomplished in Iraq would probably not have been accomplished by any other American president in the near future. I might be just rambling now, but it's late and I'm a little tired.
...
Anyways, there's a good thing that came out of this American presidential compaigns - that's all the jokes that have elevated - especially on The Daily Show! Great stuff! Those debates were actually useful - in that sense.
Oh and if you want to 'debate' me on this (you can try at least
), you'll have to wait for my response a couple more months.
And to the big issue at hand: "If I were a president..."
... I'd build a race track in my White House back yard for a good 'ol celebrity race event. (Ofcourse, I'd have to race with the celebrities as well). Each celebrity would have a choice of any car they'd like to pilot. On top of the list would be Steven Seagal, Schummi, and Ashley Judd (she can leave her race car driver boy friend home - I insist
) oh and of course Charlize would be welcome if she's healed by now
... ok so that would be sort of like a celebration party after I'd win the election. And after the race is over, there will be Champagne and lots of cake - that's the tradition. Oh, and as the president, I'd make a new holiday. I'd call it the Cake Day. If you don't know what to do on that day ... you should move ... to another country.
That was fun.
Next thread.
