No......O'Sensei had been dead a fews years by the time Seagal got to Japan...when asked who were his teachers ....Seagal will not name any particular individual sensei....he's an accumulation of many teachers.......most who are dead now...I'll see if I can find the interview where the students were asking him this.

Couple of names I came across......

****oryu Karate
Fumio Demura

Aikido
Shihan Kyoshi Ishisaki
Sensei Ceo
Sensei Tohei
Sensei Isoyama
Sensei Abe

doesn't mention the Kenjitsu Sensei....though it does state that Kenjitsu was the hardest training period for Seagal(it was during this time it's stated that Seagal practiced 8 hours a day for 6 years)...whether it was the training itself or whether it was because the teacher was relectant to teach an amercan..in which Seagal had to prove himself worthy to be taught......and the above are mixed ...ex: he learned calligraphy from Seansei Abe....and the more mystical side from some of the others...
anyway.....that's what I see right off.....in general...
Seagal's concept was to get as close to the source as possible....being the O'Sensei himself died in '69..Seagal sought out the next best thing..which was anyone who was taught by O'Sensei

The above stuff I posted was pretty common knowlege..I just needed the names...so I thumbed thru Master Of Harmony(1st Seagal issue Martial Arts Legends) yesterday afternoon looking for some names......the thng with the students really wasn't an interview it was one of those q/a periods Seagal Sensei used to do during the seminars....it was in one of the TenShin newsletters.....
usually when Seagal attended a seminar...he would put on the usual demostrations and then show the tech while explaining key points(much like the opening of ATL).....then during student practice/drills he would walk among them and point out students weakness's,etc....things to work on..........he would give lectures on spirituality,etc.........and then have a 15/20 minute time when he would take questions from the students that attended(which could be anybody)...from what I get from people that have attended one of these seminars...it was pretty much a memorable event for them......the normal format was all day Sat & Sun...with the lectures and q/a periods being at the close of the day...

Just thought I might throw in my opinion on this but I have a saved response from Take Sensei I got from his old website where he responded about his teachers.

Clearly Ishisaka was a huge influence because that was his first teacher in aikido whom he spent lots of direct time learning the basics of the art.

But once he was in Japan and joined with the Hombu Dojo, I believe Isoyama Sensei had the greatest influence on the aikido he became known for. His extremely efficient and powerful style of aikido DEFINITELY comes from Isoyama Sensei.

I have it from a direct student of Isoyama Sensei that Take Sensei spent an enormous amount of time training under Isoyama Sensei back when Take Sensei was taking over and running his dojo in Osaka. Isoyama Sensei would come from Iwama and test many of his students and then train Take Sensei behind the scenes as well.

Clearly you can see the incredible similarities in their respective styles of aikido. The way they do iriminage, the very sharp movements, the deflections.

Just my opinion but I have talked to a guy who has trained under Isoyama Sensei since the 1950's. No doubt Take Sensei learned Caligrophy from Abe Sensei and some of the more mystical stuff as well but his very sharp, martial approach to taijutsu comes from Isoyama Sensei.
