why does steven squint his eyes? does he have some kinda eye problem? might need glasses. also does any one know if he still trains, reason i ask is he's gotten a little chubby the last few years.

What kind off reply is this? Seagal is Seagal, like many people he has 'grown' a little weight with aging. If you watch video of him training with mma-fighters in the past year or so, you can see he still has the moves and speed. So what if he is a little chubby? In tj he looks fair enough for the part, the show is very enjoyable. He's happy, we're happy, everybody happy. So why complain?
He is never gonna return to the shape of above the law or under siege, but Schwarzenegger will never be in the shape again like he was in Conan or Commando. We must not forget Seagal has turned 60 this week and still makes movies, a tv-show, is a cop, trains mma-fighters, practices and teaches aikido and has a family. I'm turning 37 this month and have trouble juggling 1 job and a family life.
What will you be doing when you're 60 and in what shape will you be?
I have deep respect for Seagal.

(><) it's not a reply it's my comment and opinion which like you i am entitled too,whether you like it or agree with it.(><) i don't mean to trample on your hero but he is one of the worst actors of all time. not only is this my opinion it is also that of many of the people in the industry. look it up for your self and you'll find he has made everyone's list, and on most of them in the top 10.(><) stevie has made 40 movie and tv shows.(><) out of the 40 he was at least 1 if not the only producer, meaning he had to invest his own money in to the project. there is nothing wrong with that but, it shows no one is willing to fully risk their own money alone. out of the 40 he has wrote 11 of them including TJ which happen to be the worst one's. (><) he's only made 3 decent movies in his career, and that was over 20 yrs ago . (><) the only reason i came to this site was i was curious if he was part owner in the reelz network as they had been showing a lot of his movies lately and a lot of promo's, stevie is very big on self promotion, ill give him credit for that. this site was one of the results. his acting is so bad none of the big 4 networks would pickup the show.(><) even the better know cable only networks wouldn't risk it, it ended up on a obscure network that started only 5 1/2 yrs ago. and until just recently was only available on direct tv and dish.(><) you mentioned arnie as not looking the way he did 20 yrs ago but who does for that matter. arnie being almost 65 look's great for his age and hasn't let him self go down hill, even chuck norris look's amazing and he's 72. (><) you had to make your opinion worse by mentioning the mma that is another totally worthless subject that i am not even going to get started on. ( >< ) stevie now looks like cartman from south park,sorry eric don't mean to insult you.( >< ) the only thing i find entertaining about segal is when will sasso from mad tv would do a skit on him. which you can find on youtube and for those who have never seen him impersonating stevie check it out it is funnier then all get out, just type in will sasso steven segal and you'll find it. ("><) it just blow's my mind on what people find and call entrainment. personally i'd rather watch frog's f--ck then one of his shows. From my scholastic studies of 'squints' it appears that Chief Steven Seagal uses squinting to add flavor to his thespian reportoire in his movies. Secondly, historically speaking I've learned that Japanese martial art masters used squinting to get the message across that they're throwing their lives away in life or death combat. Lastly, it may be a facial exercise from Seagal too?

I hear yuh....Arny can't even juggle what Seagal is living and doing as a peace officer, The Number #1 Actor of our time in movies, and aikido practitioner, father figure/family man, musician, body-guard, hand to hand/combat trainer, and a global traveler, and environmental protector, and so on and on and on and on

yes if arny never let himself go in terms of his physical appearance where would he be today? I've seen his sagging/stretch marks from a lifetime of bodybuilding. But I don't condemn schwarzy for his taking time out to relax from bodybuilding. Thats probably what helped him to morph and adjust into politics?
Same can be said for the "Founder" of aikido if he didn't take time to relax his stomach/belly and continue to tap into ki/train in ki breathing/esoteric exercises, where would he have been with his akido and the superb physical talents to 'fell' his students and knock them off of their centers and unbalance them on the mat in the dojo.
Sensei Seagal always talks about relaxing his muscles to continue on with his learning and usage of intrinsic energy that he incorporates into his martial arts regime. Thats what I believe everyone in this forum fails to acknowledge?
Sensei Seagal always stated that "Its not about how muscular one is. Its about how strong your will is".
In conclusion, I presently continue to have a deep joy for how Chief Steven Seagal appears onscreen and in real life.

(><) lou might look better then arnie. the thing with lou is he was always second best to arnie . if you've ever seen the movie pumping iron arnie just rips him. gets in lou head big time. so i kinda think lou keeps up with body building a lot more then arnie. i just saw a video of lou competing in the 92 mr olympia at the age of 41.n now thats amazing. i also just watched a video of arnie in the 1975 mr olympia omg was he friggin HUGE. i am sorry for picking on stevie i'll stop it. you never did say if my squinting makes me look tough.
