Does the ultimate cut have any more violence than the theatrical cut? I'm just asking because I loved the fight scenes in Watchmen, but I didn't particularly like the rest of the movie (awkward dialogue, weird musical cues, etc.), so I'd be interested to know if the longer cuts add anything...

I'd just like to point out that Seagal has made several movies like Narc, poorly edited and murkily shot movies with bad acting and overly complicated nonsensical storylines. That's not exactly something that's missing in his career.

No, I don't think so. First off, I don't believe that the studio is seriously considering a theatrical release for Marker. It was shot with a lower budget than most of Seagal's DTV projects, and it was finished production in less than a month. To me, this doesn't scream "theatrical release."...

I got a kick out of Death Trance, but I wish they'd put more effort into the script. Still, it's good to see Tak Sakaguchi and the Zero Team at work, and Yuji Shimomura is probably the most talented action director working in Japan these days.
