I found the following article on the opening, which, unfortunately, does the usual and takes cheap shots at our Steven.

B.B. King, you need no hype at all
First things first: B.B. King put on awesome shows Monday (Oct. 6) and yesterday (Oct. 9) at his new Second Avenue club. Awesome!
But what was all this silly hype about mega-superstars flying into Nashville for these gigs? B.B.'s local hype machine whispered all around town that Eric Clapton or one of the Rolling Stones might show for the gigs. Oh, please. You know what big non-Nashville star was there? Steven Seagal, the butt-kickin' star of Under Siege and a bunch of other fist-flying flicks.
While it was fun to see a B-movie star play guitar, this was hardly a Rolling Stone. I've seen Mick Jagger, and Mr. Seagal, you sir, are no Mick Jagger. In fact, have you seen Seagal lately? The dude weighs about 250 pounds more than Mick Jagger. Now I realize I myself am what they call, uh, ''fat,'' but then again, I'm not an action movie hero.
It looks like the marquee sign Seagal's most interested in these days is: ''Hot Doughnuts Now!''
The next time B.B.'s local publicity machine wants to hype a B.B. King club appearance, here's how to do it. Tell folks they can see B.B. King play a club gig.
That's all the hype you need.
