2 Exit Wounds?

Does anyone have any news with regards to filming the sequel of Exit Wounds? Will it be going into motion (motion picture) any time soon ... or ever? I found Exit Wounds to be a very successful project that fulfilled its intents. I know that John Westermann (the author of the original Exit Wounds) also wrote a sequel called "The Honor Farm," that was discussed for shooting if Exit Wounds turned out to be a success.

But there has been no word on the sequel after the video release. Does this mean that Exit Wounds was thought of as unsuccessful, or maybe DMX's rapper appearence 'turned-off' the movie goers? The thing is, it was one of the most rented videos here when it came out. I think that there was a lot of hard work put into that picture, and a lot of talent was seen on the big screen.

So what's the word on Exit Wounds? Perhaps the wounds will enter this time (the incoming pain of not seeing Seagal in another sequel)?

title to sequel

lol Entry Wounds ... that would be some title (maybe would win one of those Razzy awards for the worst title in a good movie)

what would you call it?

I dunno, actually that could work, eh?
How about something with fists or brutal, in the title,
I still love that club fight scene, oh yeah...:D

Old nothing Tora,
Steven is a very young 50 something...:) I hope he never thinks of himself in terms of his age, because think he's just great...Better with time, and as you know I fell for him after I saw Exit Wounds...He's sure not old fashioned at all as far as I know of, his taste in clothes, his lively guitar jams, his way of thinking, his way of expression, and everything else...
He's a very cool dude...:D

Again with his age dont you all know one day you are going to be 50+ and see how you like being told how old you are...As Lotussan said he only gets better with age..

I would love a sequal to Exit Wounds. IMO this is Seagal's best most recent film.

Honestly I dont know what they can find to make a sequal. It is such a great movie to follow up.

John Westermann said that there will definately be no sequel, i think he posted it on the old forum.

I too loved Exit Wounds.

unfortunate

Exit Wounds would be hard to follow as was the case with Under Siege. But there's this russian saying: "Those who don't risk, don't drink champagne."

It is however unfortunate not to see a sequel to Exit Wounds. Has anyone read the Honor Farm by the way, and if you have, was it as good as Exit Wounds (please don't spoil it, as I would like to read it).

In a way its good and bad. Bad that we dont get to see another sequeal to a great movie, good that they didnt do a sequal because their is always a possibility like Under Siege 2 where they screw up the 2nd from the amazing first one.

After I saw Exit Wounds the first time I thought that it would be great to have a EW2. This is my favorite movie and I would like to see a sequel to it.
