To think of you

And passioned nights;

Forever days

And

Misty flights.

Fantasy, reality

Become one

As we embrace.

I went to look at the moon and wrote a poem about her but for some reason I was kicked out and no longer signed in and couldn't post it. So unfortunately I lost the flow. I will try another day but I will most certainly write it another way.

The Moment

The Moment

The moment when, after many years
of hard work and a long voyage
you stand in the centre of your room,
house, half-acre, square mile, island, country,
knowing at last how you got there,
and say, I own this,

is the same moment when the trees unloose
their soft arms from around you,
the birds take back their language,
the cliffs fissure and collapse,
the air moves back from you like a wave
and you can't breathe.

No, they whisper. You own nothing.
You were a visitor, time after time
climbing the hill, planting the flag, proclaiming.
We never belonged to you.
You never found us.
It was always the other way round.

The moon forgives you for now...;)

searching

I see your eyes wandering in the crowd.
I will not be there.
I am only where you are.
We are one in the same.
You in me, me in you.
Whenever you call me from inside
From there I will emerge
to your mind.
I have been there with you many times
and you with me.
The feeling is incomparable
to anything I have ever known.
Don't look for me in the crowds.
It is not where I am.

Soirit Cave

Spirit Cave

In the cave around the fire
Where the spirits convene
You are there with passionate intent.
The power of your presence quickens me.
The fire dances as you come to me
Your radiance fueling my desires.
My essence welcomes yours.
As our spirits meld
Our auras can be seen tingling with unknown colors and hue.
Our spirits evolve as they move through and around and over one another
Shining as a molten rock or mercuric fluid.
The fire refracting off us as it rises.
Refracting and rising
Rising higher, higher, higher!
Your essence now receding
Slowly our auras become our own to shine alone
Until once more we convene around the fire in the Spirit Cave.

Oh What luster and sheen.
Oh so smooth and generous.
To be all mine.
I wait for you in anticipation.
Expecting all of your love.
To be all mine.
Oh so smooth and generous.

What Would Life Be

What would life be with out friends like thee
I'll tell you, like no longer being free.
Imagine what life would be so sad and blue
To go through life without that special you.
And I know we live so far away
Through the internet we are like castaways
Never get to touch or hug you for this I only pray
For some day I hope we can meet
To hug and laugh and dance to the beat
I know this would be a treat
For now this is all I see
Is my good friend here with me
Just think what life would be
Without friends like thee

Unseen Friend

Although you are a friend of mine
and letters we exchange,
I wouldn't know you on the street,
and doesn't that seem strange?

You hold a place within my life,
unusual and unique;
We share ideals and special dreams,
and still, we do not speak.

I picture what I think you are,
perhaps you picture me.
An intriguing game for both of us
for someone we can't see.

So for this friendship we possess,
we owe this mail a debt,
Perhaps the charm lies in the fact
that we have never met.

Screen Friends

My husband has finally gone to work
My children have finished their play
they've gone to bed their stories read
Now it's my time of day.

I've had one of those days
you know what I mean
so I sit back and relax
and turn on my screen.

I'll talk to all my friends
who know just what to say
to make my stresses go
and my troubles fade away.

My friends you're always there for me
whenever I feel blue
and though we've never met before
I know our friendships true.

And although we haven't been friends for long
in this short time it seems
we shared so many things already
our hopes, our fears, our dreams.

We come from different walks of life
but we share a common bond
and it's time to say that of all of you
I've grown so very fond.

So thank you friends for being there
whenever I've needed you
I know you're always there for me
and you know I'm there for you.

Oh! My soul cries for it's companion.
Screams of the indignities of being lonely.
Pounces on the energy of an obliging partner.
Oh! My soul is like unto the banshee,
Howling! Howling! Howling!

Thanks Anna!

Hi Purplelotus1! I love lotus flowers. If I can ever get around to making a small pond under the tree in the front yard, I saw some lotus flowers in my pond garden building book, that I wanted to put in the pond. They are beautiful flowers; But of course there are Many Flowers & Plants I Love.

The name of the book is "The Complete Pond Builder", by Helen Nash. The 3 flowers I love the most for a pond, in that book, are the following:
(1) Chawan Basu Lotus (P.126)
(2) N. Lily Pons (P. 130)
(3) Mysterious Monique Iris (P. 130)

I had also consider one lotus from the "Low-Maintenance Water Gardens" book, also by Helen Nash. It is the Hongbian Bai Wanlian Dwarf Lotus, on page 77.

So Many beautiful flowers!!!! I love Cattails too, but they are not a flower. The chuts of cattails are edible. (Native American knowledge/wisdom)....

Do you have a water garden? If so, I highly reccommend those two books. They have a lot of good, useful-helpful informantion.

LoveYall! Love Your Sister, Eagle/Stacey

Thank you again Country Eagle. I have noted the books. I plan on growing many things in my new home. I will be in the north so I will have to research where and how my lotuses will grow. Pur

Hi PurpleLotus

If you are looking for advice on growing plants inside and outside, from books that contain info for each "Zone", then I know just the books...I have 5 book titles for you:

(1) The Houseplant Encyclopedia, by Maggie Stuckey
(2) Horticulture Gardener's Desk Reference, by Anne Halpin
(3) Better Homes & Gardens New Complete Guide To Gardening
(4) Tranquility Fountains, by Mickey Baskett
(5) garden elements, by Joan Clifton

The second & third books, are the ones you probably need the most because they give in-depth growing instructions; The Third one mentions growing zones... They are all good books with excellent pictures and easy to follow instructions. I hope this helps.

If you need any advice about finding specific books on other topics, just let me know. I litterally have my own library of books, for all ages, of just about all gener's....

Love Your Sister, Eagle/Stacey

Thank you again Country Eagle. I really appreciate it. It will take me a little bit to get set up in my new house. I will be putting in a small "late" garden. Thanks again. Pur
