Hello everyone have had an exhausting and emotional day today. I took my dog jake to have his first treatment of radiotherapy today it is a very big hospital they treat all kinds of animals who are suffering from cancer .They put a catheter in his leg to give him an anesthetic but they didn't give him enough as he started to wake up halfway through the radiotherapy so they had to give him more .it took about half an hour i was scared for him when they finally brought him out i heard him crying he was frightened as he didn't know where he was i rushed into him thinking something was wrong but the specialist said that jakes mouth had started working before his brain had woken up .jake came round very quickly he always does its because he has had so many operations that he has got used to having the anesthetic got him home all he was interested in was getting his dinner as i couldn't give him eney food this morning and kept giving me dirty looks but once he was fed and watered he was fine i have to take him for 3 more sessions for the next 3 weeks he didn't know where he was going today so he wasn't to bad i dread next week but he will have to go kicking and screaming if nesecary he is a complete ham and loves to be the centre of attention but if he doesn't have the treatment the cancer could come back i will just have to blindfold him if nesecary he has bene shaved once again he looks like a patchwork quilt bald in quite a few places and knowing him he will probably go bald i wonder can you buy wigs for dogs .god bless. sheila
Glad Jake made it through round one, Sheila.:) I know this is hard on both of you. Good luck on the next three treatments! :)

ok sheila, one is session is already done. more and your dog will get rid of this cancer DEFINITLY. i send you my support to both of us. I'm sure everything is gonna be fine. It's a hard bad time but you made 1/4 of the way to the end of the tunnel.
Keep it up (you and your dog) for just a little while and then, both of you will enjoy the peace and the spring :)

This is my older son with the beast who ate the whole house! He thought he was a lap dog, cried like a baby if he could not lay on you! My son gave up and went to sleep!

can you imagine if this were for real?!?

can you imagine having a dog like this computer gernerated one. We had a set of siamese twin pigs that were stillborn. I don't have any pics of it small enough to put on the site. We donated the pig(s) to the school for science. It was one pig from the waist up with two arms that came out the middle of the back, two ears that came out the middle of the back of the head, and a bigger snout.

That is what "bitter apple" is for Lollipop..spray it on wood that you don't want a dog chewing on & they don't like the smell of it :)

He loved it! It was like a natural calling for him! But he is the one who now lives on the goat farm! He was a beauty! The son is not to bad either! If I do say so myself!

I'd be interested in seeing those pics of yours with the Siamese twin pigs, Julie! You could follow those directions in that other thread for converting from .BMP to .JPEG. Or send it to my email as an attachment and I'd be glad to do it for you. :) If you still have the pics, that is! Good idea about donating them. It's a rare occurrence, I'm sure.

Yes the boy could eat the whole house, too, still can!
In fact I think the dog was eating my son's shoes then! I didn't make him sleep on the floor he choose to! The dog was a baby and cried if you were not right beside him all the time!
I would put him in my bed until he grew bigger than the bed!
He was a pain, sometimes I wish I had kept him! But when he got to 130 I could not handle him!

I hope you don't mind waiting until after Monday. "Little Wombat" is going on a band trip...she helps me with putting pics in the files and making sure they are small enough....and reading...uh....translatting the computer lingo. :) I am a hands on learner. She ran through the intructions too fast. She has mastered the cut and paste...sizing...etc. Be patient....I am still learning here. There is so much to learn when it comes to computers. I wish I took it in high school.

Oh, sure, Jules. No rush for me. I'll be around. :D
Hands-on is the best way to learn, in my opinion. :)
That's how I've learned the little bit I know--that, and not being afraid to click some buttons.
So far, I haven't blown the computer up--though I've been tempted to toss it a few times. :D

I guess I am afraid to push some of those buttons. My girlfriend killed her computer once doing that and boy did her husband have a hissy fit. I know mine sure would because he can't correct the errors made like my friends husband can.
