My dvd of ATTRITION arrived today....pretty fast delivery from England for the small shipping fee. An e-mail said they shipped it on November 20. A nice change of pace from most of Seagal's previous films, I enjoyed it very much. English subtitles were included where appropriate, and that helped fill in some events that would have been confusing without. Glad the dvd was made available and easily ordered. Looking forward to ordering the dvd of GENERAL COMMANDER when available.:D

Is it region free?
The DVD cover makes no mention of region, not does the disc itself. It plays fine here in the US, so I assume my disc is NTSC region 1. I did not request a specific region disc, so it appears they send the appropriate format for the geographic area from which it is ordered. I do not know if it is region free.

A guy on Youtube did a 'unboxing' video about the 'Attrition' DVD he received from 365Flix (and although he didn't mention it specifically....when he took the disc out of the case, it looked like purple-backed DVD+R release to me?)

The Blu-ray is a BD-R. They did a really good job of authoring the disc though.

Then in that case, as far I'm concerned....it's a pretty worthless release (no offence) It has little (if any) re-saleability and will erode a lot faster than a 'legit' BD release

There are only subtitles in italian on the disc.

Thank you!

So far very few releases for this movie. It looks like a lot of people don't know this movie even exist, which is sad because of the mostly great reviews it received. I really hope it will get proper Blu-ray/DVD-releases around the world soon.
