In Belly Of The Beast, in the scene where Steven is talking to his old partner at the monestary, is that his voice or did a different actor dubb that scene. If it was someone elses voice does anyone know why they didn't just use Steven's voice?

That scene was definitely dubbed, and it's a pity, too, because it was quite a poignant little scene, and the actor doing the dubbing wasn't even close - he was fighting his own accent to sound "American".

Probably there was some noise in the background while it was being filmed and the dialogue had to be re-recorded, and Steven wasn't available or wasn't willing to do the re-recording himself.

Yeah, I hated that they had to dub him during those temple scenes (I hate WHENEVER they dub him, but especially during interesting or unusual scenes like that).

Pity that, but I still thought it was so nice...He was wonderful and inspiring and he means so much to me...I loved seeing that side of him...And it was very charming indeed...Great stuff...:)

I am not quite sure if the whole scene was dubbed,
In fact I don't think so...
I think the opening line, where Sensei greets sunti in Thai sounds like is his own voice, and I believe the second and third lines are him speaking as well...
Up until he says "and how are your wounds..."
The very next line by Steven is when I noticed that the voice changes...
I think they had to dub because of background noise at the monastery, maybe there was some loud chanting going on the was interfering with the sound, just my guess...
