If the administrators look at the membership list they will find hundreds of people that join and make only one visit to the site never to return. Seems like they join to get a photo from the private side of the forum and when they have that they are gone - or maybe they get their curiosity satisfied and just leave. Those ones, especially those that are several years old, should be purged from the server. In some cases the email address is probably long gone and useless.

Unless having a high number of registered members means something somewhere else...

good point Mysty, I'd make a 100 post limit to access the photos or other things they might want to take for personal use. At the very least, I would assume this will ensure greater integrity.
I also think it would be a gppd idea perhaps to make a post have a minimum word count of at least 5 words.
If the post limit was 100, I could see some smart arse making posts like this, each line being a separate post:
I
am
the
best

type of nonsense.
Just a thought.
