I get red alert! red alert! signals as soon as someone starts off a topic "World domination!", and points fingers at how evil Europe is. I read a few of his articles, and came to the conclusion that while he sincerely believes what he is writing on is good and wonderful and would benefit humanity, the underlying message is quite subversive.
See, I know I'll never achieve enlightenment (according to what Dannion believes, anyhow - or perhaps even Steven!) because I believe in diversity, even with all of its attendant difficulties, nor I do believe in elevating political leaders to god-like status. That's the problem with being Canadian, eh. Folk like Dannion don't get much cache here - they're usually laughed right off their soapboxes, or lampooned mercilessly on our political satire tv shows. And as for our political leaders - we *always* make fun of our political leaders. I think the closest we ever came to elevating a political leader to such giddy god-like heights was during the Trudeau years - then we realised what a mistake that was, and we went back to poking fun at the politicos.
And I'd like to add that I'm just answering your question; I don't want to get into a hot political discussion because it would serve no purpose except to ruffle feathers (and I'm very much afraid that just by answering your question honestly and sincerely - from my own point of view and about which I do not propose to prosletyze to anyone once I've finished answering your question! - I've already ruffled feathers.).
