I knew Dark Horizons linked to the site somewhere, but i couldn't find it. There have been quite a few visitors to this site thanks to their link. :)

They shouldn't have a problem. It wasn't our mistake. It is clear on the header image and site title this is the Unofficial Steven Seagal site.

I would suggest that the "offical site" keep their mouths shut! They deserted US nearly a year ago!
They left us high and dry with no place to go. All
that we ever got from the "Offical Site" was that stupid sign. Which, by the way, was a bare faced lie!
If it had not been for Craig we would still be out there somewhere, in the dark, not knowing what happened to our friends nor what was going on with Steven!
If they want to get lippy about it, they can keep their "site" and we won't even go there for a visit!
They can just let the filth over-run it like they did last year.
Just in case those bozos can't read........... this is the UNOFFICAL STEVEN-SEAGAL WEB SITE!
In my opinion, Dark Horizons should have known better! Besides, we are .net, not .com!

Yes, perhaps someone should clue them in on thier little faux pas...
Although, with each passing day, I have less and less hopes of the official site even coming back anymore...
Maybe Steven would endorse this one, and make it the official site, who knows?
All I know is I am glad I have a place to come...:)

Who cares what the people over at that long defunct so-called official site think. This site is so much better than that one. The updates that we do on our own and the moderation of the forum section is so much better that that site..I for one hopes it never comes back unless they are willing to keep us up to date on Seagal's future projects and I never want them to bring back that ridiculous message board that they had back..Towards the end there, there was nothing being said about Seagal. It was just a site where members were joining groups and shouting profanities at each other. It was an embarrassment to any true Seagal fan and for any new Seagal fan that may have stumbled onto that site and saw what was going on..

I have to admit I was mortified when I first joined there and I even sent an email to the Admin (web master or whomever) pleading with them...
Steven deserves some respect, I do agree...
Oh, I am sure we will get some people like that here sooner or later, there is no real way to prevent it, really...

If they did endorse this one as the "official" site, we'd lose most of the pictures in the gallery, for starters. One of the advantages of being the "unofficial" site is that we can have things here that on an officially sanctioned site would be verboten.

I prefer we keep our heads down and away from any "official" acknowledgement.

Kudos to Craig for giving us this site, and for Suzi's diligent search for finding all those terrific pictures for the gallery, and to the forum administrators for keeping the message boards a friendly place to visit.

Why would the pictures on an official site be a no-no?
They are images of him after all, doesn't that mean he would have more rights to them than we would?
Oh well...
As long as we have a site and the great photos, I'm happy...

He - or his site adminstrator - would have control over *which* pictures would go on the site. If you take a look at our gallery, I'd say at least 60% of those pictures (perhaps more) would be dropped. And you can bet the fans (us) would not be allowed to upload any we find.

No. Let us stay under the radar, keep our "unofficial" status. That way we can have more fun. That's why we're here, right? To have fun?
