Deadly Arsenal - Steven Seagal, Dolph Lundgren, Gianni Capaldi

The thing is though, it is not the media who wrote the news but the production comany themself.. So why would the Production Company mention the name of the cast if they werent absolutely sure that they had signed on ??
They often do that to get interest and financing to a project sometimes unbeknownst to the stars or before they are officially signed (so that then they can make them a proper offer). Sometimes they just have letter of interest from their agent only and then they back off. you never know.

Anyway those all those Twitter answers didn't read like it was Seagal at all (or were way too politically correct).

Also even if it does get made, this wouldn't be soon (and therefore there's still a lot of reasons it could collapse) as the director is finishing another movie and Seagal seems to be busy with his own in Thailand...

In which world are you living in?
I´m sorry and I don´t want to destroy your illusions but Seagal´s career is over and there will never be a comeback movie. He shot 30 movies in the last years. He knew there were all crap but he took the money.

That´s the truth.

Not all of them were crap, they weren't good but they didn't all suck like s**t. And if his career is over why does he get the funds to finance (besides his own money he invests from time to time) his films? And why are still new directors (and familiar ones) that still want to work with Seagal? As an upcoming director it wouldn't be wis to do a project with a has been star and a certainty of producing 'crap' as you put.

So we can still hope (you call it illusions) of better things to come. And looking at some of the pictures we see lately of Seagal he seems a lot more at peace and happy, so maybe he has found some new inspiration that will reflect on the work he does these days.

Peace

Just got conformation from the President of VMI Worldwide productions that Deadly Arsenal is on hold. He cannot tell if the project will go in production or not.

Thank you DiDa. :)

It would actually be interesting if this movie happens with the rumored cast. :)
