Who misses this tv show that came on Fox network last yr? I miss it. It was a show about these 2 undercover cops played by Bill Bellamy & Peter Fascinelli. Tiffany Amber Theissen who played on Saved By The Bell as Kelly was their boss. This show had plenty of action & the women were hot. I watched every episode except the season finale which i heard ended stupid. I think this show knew it was gonna be cancelled when it got moved to Friday nights from Wednesday nights.

I thought it was an appallingly bad show, and was quite happy to see the end of it. I was annoyed because they cancelled Firefly which was a far superior show in order to showcase Fastlane in its time slot.

Typical Fox network idiocy. They don't know a good show when they have one; they replace superior product with inferior product to appeal to the lowest common denominator.*And where is it now? Nobody watched it! And yet, Firefly had an audience despite Fox's playing silly buggers with its schedule that could have grown if Fox hadn't kept pre-empting it for baseball.

*That's not saying that appealing to the lowest common denominator is necessarily a bad thing; they have to make money, after all. But the show just wasn't that good, it didn't get an audience, and that's why it disappeared. If Fox had stuck with Firefly, they'd have had a much better result.

great show and every guy knows this

I don't even remember the show called FireFly. I'm not a fan of FOX except that they play Seinfeld regularly.

Fatslane was amazing. Great cars and women!

Firefly was created by Joss Whedon, so you knew right from the get-go it was going to have good stories and great writing. It really was a western in space - complete with six-shooters and horses! No ray-guns (well, there was one, but only once). It was bloody brilliant - Chinese was in fact the language and culture for most of the people so to watch a group of round-eyes lapse into Chinese (no subtitles, either!) sometimes mid-way through a sentence - it was disconcerting but fascinating, to say the least!

One of the women in the show - the one who played the Companion (read: prostitute) - was one of the most stunningly beautiful women I have ever seen. Adam Baldwin - big, bad-ass Adam Baldwin (not one of the Baldwin brothers - just his bad luck to have the same last name) (he was the guy who played the bodyguard in My Bodyguard) - played a guy named Jane. Yep. Jane. The rest of the cast was also great, and they worked well together as an ensemble.

And the stories, the writing, everything was Joss Whedon superb. And stupid Fox wouldn't get behind it. Arrrgggh! It was everything I always wanted in a science fiction show, and yet the way it was done, you weren't even aware you were watching science fiction.

-TD, still mourning
