Well I used to learn KI ~ AIKIDO but quit. I found it is not practical in a street fight situation, like Bruce Lee said 90 % or oriental martial arts is baloney. I found what I was learning at KI AIKIDO simply a joke.

Anyway I am 15 and have been doing martial arts since age 5, I am a 3rd degree blackbelt in TAE KWON DO testing for fourth soon.

How long time did you spend in ki aikido?

The main organization is WTF World Tae kwon do Federation
In the US we are a part of USTU United States Tae kwon do Union

I have been doing martial arts for 11 years
Time requirements all depends on the school our school WTM in maryland is the 3rd best tkd school in the U.S. according to WTF and USTU
some schools want money other's like ours teach and train champions
I tested for 3rd dan in 2001 and now is 2004 so i should be receiving it soon.

I trained in Ki Aikido for a couple of monthes and found it was just baloney and would not do anything in a street fights situation.

I know it depends, and that is why I asked you, if it's ok, when you do your exam for 4 dan, how long time since 3 dan, and what technical demands are requested from you to perform during the exam?
And how old were you when you recieved shodan (1 dan)?

I got my 1st dan when i was 8

but our master has different testings for different dans, so foruth dan i have to break concrete thats all i know do all the forms and all the kicking combinations thats all i know so far because i have not asked him yet
