Mason your instructor should know what to tell you to do. If not then find a trainer of gymnastics or dance near you. ( If your instructor or teacher cannot help you with this , then I would find another teacher ).MasonStorm said:I just started karate i believe 6 months ago. Mason - just keep gently stretching (don't overdo). If you can get a good sports massage it helps to loosen up the muscles and tendons and joints. Also, you can put one leg up on the kitchen counter while washing dishes or preparing food ... just don't put your foot in the salad Alternate with each leg and gently stretch. Remember to warm up first and also cool down so the muscles are nice and warm. Think of muscles as rubber bands - they will stretch nicely but don't over-stretch.
