....Does that mean he'll bite the bullet at the end. I mean, you didn't see him buy the farm in EXECUTIVE DESCISION, but i don't think i could handle seeing the big guy losing a fight (and more importantly)
I'm sure the ladies on this message board will be a little tearfull

Bad guy

I'm fairly sure he is the bad guy, he really beats up who looks to be the good guy in the movie in front of his little girl. Hopefully he won't bite the bullet at the end though. Even in the trailer he takes a few hits so I think we may have to prepare ourselves for him taking his first real beating in a movie. It might be okay though, I've always wondered what he would be like as a villain.

Actually I don't want to see him "Bad Guy" !! because he is my hero and he is the meaning of power for me !! But Steven is an actor and he does what ever his role tell him to do !! and I am sure he does very well !!
I don't believe he is an bad guy at Clementine. I guess he is a fighter and he did his job !!

Finally I mean, I am Steven Seagal fan and I like him all the time !! Bad guy, good guy... etc !!

Not me...I like it when he's vulnerable, but I think his death in Executive Descicion was a waste of a man. The things I could have done to him...

Personally I don't like the idea of him playing a bad guy:(.
I now wonder if a Hollywood bad guy role is on the horizon??:(.

I agree. Seagal will kick some serious ass no matter if he is good or bad. He is always number one, it doesnt matter if he is in the role of a hero or villian. I think it is good he is trying new roles and branching out in films. If Seagal's character must die, we should still support him all the way.

If he does end up playing a future Hollywood bad guy role, then it's pretty obvious he will end up been killed at some point in the film.I will always associate Seagal with all things good, doing what's right & being the hero etc.,and will certainly take some getting used to.Remember:to be the good guy is cool:D.I guess i'm still a little shocked that Seagal is going for a bad guy role for once.

Maybe he is tired of always playing the good guy in his films, and so is trying out something different. It may just be for this one film, and then again we could see more of him as a bad guy if he decides he likes the role.
Then again maybe in Clementine, the bad guy turns good. Sure would like to get a copy of this when it comes out on DVD, and see for myself.
Take care

It doesn't bother me, I find it exciting...He's always had that slightly rebellious edge with the black leather and all, hehehe...Now he can play it up a little...And the bone cracking has always given him a bit of a tough as nails feel...I really hope he doesn't get killed off though...:(

Well...just because he's not the protagonist doesn't mean that he's the bad guy. Let's wait and see...

Steven as a Bad Guy

Hi All

I think it would be great for Steven's career, and something different for him to play a bad guy. However, I would want him to kick ass constantly on the good guys throughout the movie, and have his usual great fight with the main good guy this time at the end of the movie, and then get shot or something, I don't want him to get badly beaten up in a fight.

Regards
Nash.

Agreed, the badly beaten up thing wouldn't look good for him at all...
He has to always have the most power when it comes to the fighting...
Of course, everyone knows he isn't bulletproof, so that would be ok...
But I'll still not like it, however I am not the masses, so who cares...

I disagree. Seagal has been criticised too much for not being hurt in his films. If this is what the film is about, and it is good, dont make it bad because a few of us die-hard fans would get upset about it. The quality of film is always more important then Steven's character. If it is a bad film, it wont reflect on him well as an actor, and hurt his career. This is why we should all applaud him for taking such a risk!
