Just a friendly reminder. It was reported that the North American rights were sold to Anchor Bay, so it's useless to bombard Voltage about when it is going to be released in USA, they probably don't know.
You should Contact Anchor Bay instead if you are interested.

Also, Voltage works as the sales agent for the movie, they sell the rights to distributors globally who then each take care of the release in different regions.
In my opinion it is a bit rude that so many people have apparently sent several emails to them regarding pictures or trailers.
At the end of the day their job is to sell the movie to distributors worldwide, not to please the fans so to speak.
Normally sales agents and production companies only give out official pictures or trailers to the distributors they sell the movie to, who in turn will use that material to promote the movie in their territories.

Some people on Imdb were already getting excited about a possible theatrical release for Maximum Conviction, because the news reports mentioned that Anchor Bay has bought the Theatrical and home video rights.

A theatrical distribution for this movie is extremely unlikely.
Sorry to say but Seagal and Austin just don't have the star power to justify a theatrical release.
It would be a financial suicide for anyone to invest money in a theatrical release of any kind for this movie.

It's a DTV all the way, along with the stunt doubles and apparently Steven only spending 3 hours a day on set.
He's just coasting to retirement.

i dont think this will get a cinema release but i might get a release similair to JCVD film AG which he co-starred with scott adkins...IMO seagal and austin are bigger sells then van damme and adkins

AG was released in about 6 places(places where van damme was popular) and then 6 weeks later was released on DVD so the mini cinema release was like a promotion for the DVD releases

Another film to do this is Missionary Man with Dolph which again was released in about 5-6 cinemas and then arrived on DVD a few weeks later

i think MC will be DVD but doing the above would work well for the film IMO

This is clearly a Half Past Dead ripoff. Steve Austin will propably get the most screentime and Steven is left on the sideline with only minimum screentime, action and fightscenes.
