Oblowitz To Direct Next "Highlander" Sequel

Good news all "Highlander" fans (I type with a large dose sarcasm), hack for hire Michael Oblowitz of "The Foreigner" and "Out For A Kill" fame, is to helm the next in the series entitled "Highlander: The Source". It is be filmed with a script by Darren O Campbell (The Foreigner) and William Panzer (who has co-written the last 3 "Highlander" films). Worse still, though maybe not that surprising, Christopher Lambert and even Adrian Paul are not signed to star in it.

My guess is this will be the final nail in the cinematic coffin of the "Highlander" series.

I am not interested in Highlander: The Source if Adrian Paul isn't in it, and I am probably not even going to bother watching it now I know that Oblofu*kwitz is directing. For the record, I actually thought that Endgame was really good considering it was made on a limited budget. The story was half decent and there was a couple of awesome fight sequences in it.
