Old site no longer there!!!!!

Looks like the website has reached it's expiry date. According to the website information, the expiration date for the domain name 'stevenseagal.com' was 23 June 2003. They will need to re-register the domain name (before someone else does!) in order to get the site up and running again.

It will be back. At the moment it isn't letting anyone register the name stevenseagal.com (I tried!), so one can only assume that they either have some kind of protection on the rights to the domain name or they are in the process of re-registering. Maybe JLucas will be able to explain further.
Yes I tried you are right Casey !! Ýt is coming back soon with a new name !! Of course I don't know but I am feeling like this. If it is true I sad. 
Because He cleared us from official site !! Mr. Seagal kicked us forever !! He never liked, May be he is looking foranother loyal fans instead of our small community !!So this site is our home. Thank you Craig for this beautiful site !!

Man I don't and never had any 'inside " info on that site except from what some of the Ten Shin students wrote me about it....
as far as I was concerned the site went dead about mid-summer 2002........then the closing door was when they pulled it off for supposedly temp maintenence a month before HPD was due out.....nobody pulls a promotianl site right before a promotinal release is due out.....even by internet standards that's totally insane....and can only be explained by irrational actions on the parties in charge of the site(tho of course the ad's did try to put the blame on the users for awhile there....lol....like we are in someway responsible for their lack of concern about the site....if you can't read the message behind that.....you haven't been using the internet much...

J - I know you have no inside info on the official site as such - what I meant was you will probably be able to explain in more depth than I about the technicalities of the expiration date and why, even though the site ownership records are showing that the expiration date for the domain name stevenseagal.com passed on June 23, the name still cannot be registered by the likes of me!

I didn't take it THAT way... Unfortunately I can't see myself going to England anytime, soon... I mentioned it as a little test to my folks and you should have seen them throw a fit...It's thier way or the highway around here, so it's a real no no for now...
I would have to get a job first and work for awhile cause if I went I would be banned from this house...Hey, you think I could apply for a job as his coffee girl? That's an idea... Besides I would probably never find him, and if I did how many bodyguards would he have around him? No-one knows his location at any given time, and it's probably better that way...Sigh...

There is no other explanations !
Firstly he closed member board then closed his site and cleared himself from the net, he doesn't want to have any communications with anybody, fans, members, etc...!!

Lotus - I wouldn't do sh*t with it apart from wait and see how much ******* money that little tague Scott offered me for it! And then I might tease him by making him think I was going to give it back to him before abruptly changing my mind and slapping a few more dollars on the price tag! Hahahahahahahahahaha!!! Or I might just give it to Craig for free and he could use it - after all - he seems to know how to run a website and does a far better job than the ******* losers at the other place.
The plane fare to England? ****** if I know. About $5000 on Concorde, innit? You could probably get an economy flight for around $350-$400, I would imagine.

I hate to think that you might be right about this, but it seems likely. Or, his "people" have advised him not to interact with the fans. Or he's decided we're just not worth his while, based on all the complaints about his weight, his fighting (or lack thereof), etc. etc. etc.
Or it could be whoever was administering the site for him isn't doing it any more, and they haven't got a replacement.
From what I understand of the old message board, some of the discussions got quite nasty, and understandably I should think he wouldn't want to get involved with those kinds of fans. It may be those who perpetrated the nastiness have tarred the rest of us loyal (some of whom are constructively critical) fans with their ugly brush.
So far, the message boards here have remained mostly untarnished, but I'm starting to see nastiness creeping in. If it gets any worse, these message boards won't be worth visiting, either.
Or, it may simply be he's got better things to do with his time than spend it on the internet (heaven knows, I do, but I still while away the hours at my computer because I like chatting with most of you who hang around here).
I wouldn't take it personally. I'm sure there are a lot of actors out there who wouldn't give their internet fans the time of day (and who probably don't even know how to run a computer, anyhow).
If he wants to find *us*, I'm sure he will!

but I am very appreciative that we have this web site.
I want to thank you, Craig for having a place where we can
all go and discuss these things.......As for Steven deserting
his fans, I cannot believe in my heart that he would do that
to his devoted fans. There must be other reasons.......

And TD, I agree with some of what you said, I am sure anything he does is mostly done by his "people" Lets face it he's a busy person....
However I do think if he wanted to do something that they advised against I think he would tell them just to where to stick it...
As much as I like to pretend that he comes here as a lurking guest, I am pretty sure he would ever interact with us on the internet...Not that I think it's undignified, I just don't think he would feel comfortable with doing it being who he is...It might be ill advised....Not to say I think he isn't advised as to the goings on here though, I am sure there is an insider around here that tells him these things...Perhaps he even comes and reads a thread or two, perhaps he doesn't...I like to hope he does, because of my poetry...But I do tend to doubt it...I do think that what is posted here has to be monitored, as it can affect his image...Perhaps that is why the other board is no more, he probably saw how it deteriorated it was and he had them close it...Not because he dislikes the fans, but because it was getting way too negative...I think Steven appreciates his fans very much....
