Old site no longer there!!!!!

Dear Lotus,
First of all Mr. Seagal is a grown up man, wise and doesn't need the ideas of the third persons to come up with decisicions. I believe this is the case for the site.
Secondly when I say he tried to show it to us is his behaviour and neglicance of personal touch with the hands. for exp: they stated many rules as is the persons in the site doesn't know anything about it or has no respect. He judget all of us as same with the bad ones and sentenced us all !! HE CLOSED suddenly !! We sent too many messages for this to administrators (example:to jaime calderon) didn't get any reply!! so he stopped all communications !!
Believe me I don't want to think like this but I am feeling like this !! these are reality !!
I love Steven Seagal forever. Of course I am one of his loyal fan !! IT WILL NEVER CHANGE !!!

I know a little about web address registrations.
The domain has now expired, it looks like nobody from www.stevenseagal.com have bothered to re-register it! That either means the site is closed now completely or else they have just been stupid.
Now the domain has expired, there is a set period before it becomes available for other people to purchase it. I think it's 3 months.
After this set period anybody can purchase the domain! Usually someone is standing by to steal the traffic. This happened to me with an old site i used to run that was reasonably successful.
Glimmer if you want to try and purchase the domain, you should have a look at www.godaddy.com as you can backorder a domain, and as soon as it is free they attempt to purchase it for you.

This is what I was thinking (mind you, based only on what I'd heard reported here about the old message board). The ones who didn't respect the rules ruined it for those who did. I'm not surprised he would shut down the board under those circumstances.
If he doesn't re-register his domain name, though, he'll probably have to shell out a huge sum of money to get it back. I hope his "people" get on the ball (I doubt very much he deals with anything like a domain name himself, suzi. He's got staff that are supposed to handle this sort of thing, I'm sure.) and get his domain name re-registered before some troll picks it up and attempts to extort large sums from him so he can get it back.

So do I! We're a pretty good bunch here, mostly. I know it's disappointing that he doesn't spend time with his fans, here or before on his (now defunct) message board, maybe it's just something he's not comfortable doing. (Although he did post on Turboman's site, much to the delight of the folks there, though that was a while ago.)
Maybe if we keep things congenial here, he'll stop by one day.
