~Author ?
I got up one morning
and rushed right into the day;
I had so much accomplish
that I didn't have time to pray.
Problems just tumbled about me.
and heavier came each task.
"Why doesn't God help me?" I wondered.
He answered, "You didn't ask."
I wanted to see joy and beauty,
but the day toiled on, gray and bleak.
I wondered why God didn't show me,
He said, "But you didn't seek."
I tried to come into God's presence,
God gently and lovingly chided,
"My child, you didn't knock."
I woke up early this morning.
and paused before entering the day;
I had so much to accomplish
that I had to take time to pray.
I am a very responsible person. If anything goes wrong "I" am responsible!!Serena said:Spoken by every child at least once--especially those with siblings.

Thanks for that about nurses, Kat.kat_whit said:That statement is so very true! Nurses are the backbone
of the medical field!
Oh, so much much! just kidding!tora said:So how much of it have you found in me so far?
Very true about mothers, Julie! I admire all you moms. My mother is a shining example of a working mother of five children who did an amazing job, having to work outside the home, yet still kept us all in line, kept an amazingly clean home, and was a great role model for all of us.Julie Scarborough said:That is so true, Serena.
