aint hatin on seagal or nutin but imo the man fell off ages ago in terms of quality movie making... he aint even come close to classics such as marked for death and out for justice... the newer movies are wiggedy wack!... maybe hes gettin old and cant bust those lightin fast moves no more?... u know how he used to bruk manz bonez, twist em up and they cant even do ****... I wanna see that seagal back

just cause the quality of movie's has slowed down a little for the boss, it don't mean he's lost the moves. ponytails aside, i'm sure he can still clear out a bar of bad guys in under a minute!! in fact, i met someone recently who reckcons they trained with seagal last year and he was still putting the moves on no sweat....

to say mr seagal has lost it is not only an grave injustice, its a blatent indication of the low level of intelligence possessed by some of the less appreciative "fans" out there.

wise up homeboy - he ain't no ballet dancer. next time you see him, why don't you tell him he ain't got the moves anymore (whilst he's wiping the floor wit yo ass)

Sometime ago someone said for joking it should be the mix of Out for Justice and Hard to Kill, and now, I think it's true !!!!

Well, if the OFAK trailer is anything to go by, at least he's stopped being self-conscious about his weight, which, as I believe I've mentioned before, was probably the only thing stopping him from doing his own fighting.

What do you mean, 'pretend fans'? Nothing pretend about my fanship, I can tell you. I want him to kick serious butt, although I don't mind if he doesn't - IF the story doesn't need it, not because some stunt double is called on to do the work instead. But all those trick camera angles and long coats and hiding behind filing cabinets to mask his weight while the stunt doubles do most of the work - no, I haven't enjoyed that much, myself.

Sometimes people can't help being really self concious, believe me I know this...
I am sure it was especially bad for him, because everyone is constantly scrutinizing you when you are a movie star, I can't imagine that hell...
I am very self concious about my weight, but since I am getting some really loving support for the first time in my life (my friends you know who you are)
I have more confidence, and am finally decided to do something about it...
I will support and love Steven no matter what he weighs...I never tire of him...I am proud of him, perhaps he's not perfect, but he is extremely talented in many ways, and he can do a lot of things that many people will never ever accomplish...

I wish everyone would stop arse kissing Seagal.

Truth of the matter is, his last 4 films, with the exeption of Exit wounds have been terrible.

And of course, people are going to compare his older films with his new ones, of which there is no contest.

I hope OFAK is what we all have been waiting for, we ain't got long to wait now.

out of seagals last 4 films only 2 were bad and they were hpd and ticker.i liked foreginer and exit wounds better than fire down below and patriot.

To me it looks like a mix of Half Past Dead and The Foreigner. From the Trailor it looks like a bunch of wire tricks (like HPD) and it has the same director as The Foreigner. I loved both those movies (i must be nuts,) and I will surely injoy this one, but ya got to rember its STV for a reason. It sure as hell wont be a blockbuster.

Well, I liked The Foreigner, and parts of HPD. I think the reason why Ticker didn't work well as a film was because the premise behind the bombings themselves seemed incidental to the story. The film would have worked better had there been more character work between Sizemore's character and Seagal's, personalising the bombings without making the bombings actually personal (they way it was in Speed, for example).

Ticker tried being both a character piece and an action movie, and didn't succeed at being either, unfortunately.
