lollipop i typed that because people said to me "you are not a true fan why do these people who dont like him blame him"

i dont say this stuff because i do care for steven seagal and want to see him better in his life...i know losing weight will help him get fitter and do better movies
people say he's not fat look at out of reach....(my prime example) he cant really do hardly any fighting in it.. most of it was his stunt double even with measly stuff and even in some movies his hands couldnt move fast enough so got a stunt double

Please Ladies & Gentlemen,

We talked this several times & we wrote several times...

Please leave him alone.. Steven is an adult and he knows what he does...

We are his loyal fans and we will support him no matter what. !!!
Steven Seagal is a human and he has mistakes.. He can be critize but not like this way.. not with his weight..

I respect and I will follow him what he does & I DID !!!!!!!!!

I am sure all the fans like him.. No Doubt !!!

suzi

Sorry Suzi! We are fans, but he's not a GOD, as you say he's "only" a human like you or me. And it isn't bad if you critizise someone!!! I think in a fan portal it should be possible to say good parts of someone but you can say the mistakes too!!!! I mean he's not perfect, he's not always the best and the greatest. He makes mistakes and like to other people we can look critical to this things. That doesn't mean that im not a fan. I have every dvd, and i watch every movie, but he's not a god! What are you doing when in some years you maybe don't hear anything new from him?! Kill yourself???

There’s nothing wrong with being overweight or fat. It is continually over eating, and avoiding any exercise that there should be a concerned matter with. I don’t look at ‘fat people’ in disgust; I look at someone with bad habits in disgust. Some people can’t lose weight, no matter how hard they attempt the task. Did any of you consider Steven Seagal not being able to lose weight? Did any of you consider the fact that he may take it into mind, and may be trying to lose weight? And laziness is a problem in all of us. I would, however enjoy seeing Steven Seagal get back into shape, and learn how to bow properly. But, unfortunately he is not and cannot.

Why thank you for your kindness and hospitality. I undertook your advice and made a thread in the introduce yourself forum.

I'm just going to add that-you think ranting about this is going to make him lose weight? Geez I wish people would mind their own business

Oh jeeeeezzzzzzzzz!!! Personally, I prefer Steven a little older with a little meat on him! As someone who has struggled with her weight, I'll tell you that being thin really isn't all that it's cracked up to be. I lost 20 pounds for my wedding, and I felt horrible. I was tired, cranky, got horrible migraines, and the worst PMS ever. I put some of it back on, and now I feel great. I rarely get sick. I take care of myself. I work out regularly: cardio 4 days a week, strength training 2 days a week, and I take a pilates class 2 days a week. I watch what I put into my body. I'm not a size 4, or a 6, or an 8, so I'm sure ad adrian, I would seem huge to you. I'm not trying to attack you, I'm just trying to give you a different point of view. For some people, being a little heavier is healthier for them. I don't have the body of a swimsuit model (thank Goddess!!) but I am strong and healthy. Oh yeah...I have big hips too, and I (and my husband!) love them!!!

kimonosoul....you are very active...i have great respect for you. my thing is...i dont think steven is doing much active/fitness......any more...he does the VERY RARE aikido demonstration. but even in movies he hardly does any fitnesswork, its not just the overweight thing...its the whole unfit...unable to do most of his stunts like he used to thing...and i know its not age that is doing that

Hahaha.

This is a funny thread, and I am reading it with much amusement.

Unfortunately, as people get older, they tend to put on weight and losing that weight is difficult. The human body is not biologically designed to lose weight easily (it's a throwback to the days when we were cavemen and sometimes had to go days without food - the body bulks up quickly and stores the fat to give us extra energy for the times when we need it most, such as having to escape from a sabre-toothed tiger). Unfortunately, this 'design problem' has not really updated properly as humans have evolved and that is why it is much easier to put on weight than it is to lose it.

I do tend to lean towards Ad Adrian's point of view with regards to Seagal... I hope you don't all start getting on my case and accusing me of not being a true fan because of this! Seagal seemed to start putting on weight as he entered his 40's and this trend has continued basically throughout the later part of his career save for a brief spell where he allegedly lost some of his excess bulk for Exit Wounds, though I can't say I really noticed.

Personally, I don't think he is THAT big, but he is noticeably overweight and if he wants to be taken seriously as a credible action film star, he should lose some weight. Of course, we don't know exactly why he can't seem to lose the weight - maybe he has some kind of hormonal imbalance or thyroid condition, but personally, I think he doesn't exercise enough. My opinion is that he should spend less time visiting hospitals and playing with guitars and more time getting his fitness back. Then he should make some movies which are half decent, instead of the nonsensical garbage which we are continually subjected to.

I was thinking a lot about those things related with Steven. Yesterday I was thinking maybe he Is sick. Maybe all this things about his personal problems is a result of some kind of illness. I hope I'm wrong.

Thank you for your kind words. You can still do everything "right" and be considered overweight. When it's all said and done, it really isn't going to matter how hot we all looked when naked, but the kind of people we were...how we treated others, and if we left the world in a better state than when we found it. I would place my bet on Steven over all of my athletic friends, who are much younger and supposedly fit.

Oh yeah, one more thing....I don't mess around with six packs when I can tap a keg!

How exactly do you describe the category unhealthy? Do you suppose and assume that not being able to breath correctly, or in a bed due to some sickness at a hospital as unhealthy? Or maybe not being able to run for 10 miles without stopping for a break unhealthy? Is average fitness considered fit? No. It has been considered that the average let us say, 50-year-old man, is unfit and unhealthy. Steven does not have to be fit. I don't look at Steven in disgust, it would be good to witness him losing some extra mass, but I respect and envy Steven for exactly who and how he is.
