Seagal Private Collections Video

I finally was able to get a hold of the 'Private Collections' episode of the Modern Marvel series.....I extracted the 7.30mts. segment with Steven Seagal showing & talking about some of his sword & guitar collections...
I also re-uploaded the Steven Seagal Master of Harmony Magazine too..
Going thru some old backup CD's I came across some misc. Seagal stuff...old soundtracks,videos,etc....
I also put VLC 1.01(universal video/audio player) a PDF reader & Editor should anyone need it...they also begin with ''Seagal'

How safe is this file sharing site, John? I've got some concerns, not only about the file sharing site itself, but recent news about the crackdown on file sharing sites and copyright infringements.

Hello;
Well some months back I e-mailed Crag about putting the magazine on this site so people could download it....it's basically a collectors item these days...
and I also mentioned that I found the Modern Marvels episode 'Private Collections' that I saw once on TV and it had a less than 10mt segment with Seagal showing some of his 'Private Collections' off......I thought it was pretty good....Craig asked me for the link to it..but I checked recently and haven't seen either the video or the mag here yet...
just recently I've gotten access to a better internet connect so I was able to upload it without taking a week and a half to do it.......
I would prefer to upload it directly here bit I don't have access anymore ....
Craig & I go back quite a few years and we never had any problems with each other.......
as far as 'safe site'...I'm not exactly sure what you mean........I know the 4shared site been a round a bit....and being I've been into 'questionable downloads' for years I've never come across anyone getting into trouble using 4shared.....I don't see how a 19mt excerpt could be a copyright infringement in my eyes....neither to half a PDF version of a long out of print magazine....
I do know that some countries 'block' access to certain file sharing sites....
which to me falls under some kind of 'censorship' idealogy....
I know in the past just from this site alone ...that many things that even if you could buy...they just aren't available.....I try not put myself in the position of helping 'major corporations' make more money than they already overcharge in the first place....I just believe in trying to help one another and share what is possible these days 'electronically' with others that may not be able to obtain any other way....
I can only vouch for the files that I personally made and uploaded....but none of the others if you use the 'virtual directory' approach....
you are an administer......my days being an ad. here are long gone.......
Discuss it with Craig and/or take up a vote here whether to pull it or not....
I don't make any monetary value in this I would think that anyelse downloading them would either.......
I think the people that use this forum are pretty reasonable and stable minded(that's one of the reasons I pop back in now and then)
John

I appreciate your explanation, John, and I'm not questioning your relationship with Craig. I'm just voicing concerns because of the all the brouhaha regarding sharing sites that have been in the news for the past few years, including issues regarding viruses, and how the crackdowns by copyright holders have been increasing. If the material is in the public domain, I'm sure there's no problem. Craig, of course, has the last word. I guess I'm just being the devil's advocate!

Hi TDWoj;
Well you are correct about 'cracking down on some sites'...for sure that is true.......half of the sites I used to get bootleg music from are gone or have been given the kindly notice to 'stop it and play nice'.......if anything they are really going after the sites and not users(and even this is being wasted on small file sharing sites.....Do you think that these so-called 'rights holders' actually care about people?....Why aren't they helping to stop the pedophiles that have been destroying children that's been going on in Facebook(last I read there were 40.000 registered sex offenders using it...and that's just the actual registered ones ....or the prostitution/slavery rings that have been going on for years on 'Craig's List'(not our Craig ..of course)....there's no 'money/profit' in it for them......they could care less except for fattening their pockets(sorry I didn't want to get into political stuff....and of course these are merely my own views on it:)....I also was wrong in posting 'direct links'...that actually links this forum to the site...so I'm going to edit the links and just leave the address....then this forum merely provides info. for anyone interested in pursuing....what most people on forums and sites do is change the HTTP to HXXP...everyone(I think) knows to copy the address,paste it in the browser and change the 'xx' to 'tt'.....
and again I'm not going to get into the 'politics' of things ....politics seem to deny people many things(as far as I see)....and allow others...
As far as viruses....... that a fact of using the internet.....I know my files are clean....and i would expect everyone to 'scan' anything they download from anywhere...that's common sense practice....
I'll get on the editing right now and just leave the address's.....
I understand your concern....trying to keep a 'quality site' is not as easy as it was 15 years ago.....but try to avoid 'over-kill'...if you know what I mean......lol
John

PS: Oh Hey TDWoj....how about pulling the old thread 'Seagal Master of Harmony' one for me...it's not needed anymore.........Thank you
J.L.

It's not working for me, when I download it nothing opens...
Hi Littledragon;
They are in 'RAR files(compressed)...you need to download then file....
click on it and it should open with whetever progarm you use for such(WinRar,WinZip,etc).then just 'drag' the file out..
the video is an .AVI and should be played thru a media player type program(VLC is the best these days)
The PDF needs to be read in a program like Adobe Reader....
I'm on alot these days now(for awhile)..post what is exactly happening or not happening...and we'll get you thru it....
being you indicated you downloaded the file that's great right there..
what file did you download?
John

PS: Littledragon...if you have a address you can use...I'll send it(them) directly to you un-compressed...
