Seagal's look

Howdy all,

I'm not writing this in a negative way, it's actually a compliment, but has anyone noticed that Steven seems to be copying the look of the great Japenese actor Tishiro Mifune who worked on many of Akira Kirusawa's films.

Think about it, he's got the hair, those long, twirly sideburns. Even the shape of his face is similar. Maybe it's just me.

It's a mystery...

... there've been many discussions on Seagal's family origins - that has alot to do with it ... I don't think there's anything in it for Seagal to copy some actor... (plus, Seagal lived in Japan since he was very young so he could just have picked up some facial expressions and got used to them...)

Right !! Yes Mifune was one of the big actor but not handsome man. Steven Seagal is magnificent and very handsome I believe !!

Suzi aint that the truth, Iam an person who doesnt go by looks i love whats on the inside...but he is an handsome guy and he is also unique..there will never be another Steven Seagal because he is one of an kind...

Sorry I just don't see the similarity in the pictures. The stance yes, but the look, no. Of course all of you know me. Steven is one of a kind and will never look like anyone else or no one will ever look like him. Steven is Steven, someone that I just can't take my eyes off of his eyes. ops that should of been in the other thread. Sorry.

But I can tell you the similarity-when you look at the Japanese sumo fighters :D Well,definitely Seagal beats them :D In a good sense of course :D

Mr. Dressup!!! We grew up watching him here, thanks to CBC from Canada. Casey and Finnigan and the whole motley crew. :D. And do you know his show is still on here every weekday, though he died in 2001.

And now that you mention the resemblance.........:D
