Hello, this is my first post so treat me nice. Imported Shadow man to the UK last week and enjoyed Steven's performance. However the film director and editor need to learn fast and improve. Steven dragged this film up from the gutter in my view and perfomed some excellent fight scenes. However the body doubling for walking up the street, which can be dangerous I suppose got a little bit annoying. Prince of Pistols is the one which will decide Steven's fate and I hoping for the best.

The problem with mr. Seagals latest films isn't a director or editor problem, but much more.
The foremost problem is money.
Since the budgets are low, there isn't enough money for good FX (remember the helicopter explosion in Shadow Man?), not enough money to make a good script, not enough money to do many takes of a scene, not enough money for decent actors, stunt people, locations etc. etc. etc.
Unfortunately mr. Seagal has a reputation for beeing hard to work with, so the big studios don't want to work with him.
As you can see it is a combination of factors, but mr. Seagal does seem to try to get out of this segment of the movie business and either get in the big studio's again or become a fulltime musician.
