Hard To Kill
I'm a newbie but bare with me. The first Steven Seagal movie I ever saw was
"Above The Law", when I saw it, I was a little confused because I had never
seen his type of martial arts. Then I thought we have new type of martial arts
action superstar and he is going to be big. It did not take long for Steven Seagal to gain recognition, he hit the screens big time. The next 2 "Marked For The Death" and "Hard To Kill" absolutely blew me away. I can't say which one of Seagals movies I like best since I have everyone and much watch one every day, I guess it's addiction. Anyway I felt pretty sad when he got a Razzie award for Worst Director was a real put down to Seagal. Even after that he maintained his status no matter what was said about him. Whe he work with Keenan IvoryWayans, DMX and Ja-Rule he had put on a couple of pounds and seemed to have slowed down. When I saw "Belly Of The Beast" and the fight scene in the food market I was amazed at how fast he was and to be able to stay stationary in one place and that in itself is hard to do, But I also noticed that had incorporated Tae-Kwan-Do a little in his moves. I have seen him do a front round but I have never seen him do a swinging round house for that matter a jumping spinning round house. I don't want tp make this long so I will just ask the ?. Seagals movies seem to be not played in the U.S. anymore or their not playing in theatres at all. Does anybody know why?
Oh! his Mountain Dew commercial is hysterical. I never could imagine Steven Seagal doing a commercial. But it fit to a tee.:)

Hi and welcome to the site. :) To answer your "?". Nobody knows for sure except Steven, so don't let anyone tell you they do know. ;) But everybody sure guesses. That's what we do best around here--guess and have fun. :D Enjoy! :)

Thanks for the warm welcome everybody. I thought he did not do those kicks
because I slowed my DVD down and zoomed in and caught a small glimpse, andI knew something was wrong. Thanks. I have only met him once in my life and it was by accident. I was touring studios in Ca. and I saw him and just told how much I admired his work. I was happy when he put Gatti away. Offering Steven makes at least $10 mil. a movie, Gatti was going to pay him $654,000 each of the 4 movies he did. That is an insult in itself.

I dont know how much they payed him to do that Moutain Dew commercial, but I love it. I was tryiing to find away to copy it but I couldn't, so I used the MPG inmy camera and got it all in 2 shots. You can go to the website and vote on which commercial you like best on Moutain Dews web site, but I have feelingI know what your going to pick. Thanks again fir the welcome and I'm real anxious for "Into The Sun". Here is the Moutain Dew website if you want to vote. Talk to you soon. http://www.mountaindew.com/mdtv/index.php. if
you know how to get the whole commercial please let me know. :)

You really gotta look around here when you get more time. ;) :D

We have an 80-page thread on voting for the Mountain Dew commercial that started in April of last year, but we really think it's just about over now: http://www.steven-seagal.net/forum/showthread.php?t=3043&page=1&pp=15

And here's the link to another thread for viewing the whole commercial.

Have fun! :)

Do you have QuickTime? And, if so, do you have the latest version? You need QuickTime to view it. I just checked and was able to see it okay.

Hard To Kill
I could not think of anything better and show how much I like Steven Seagal.
Thanks Serena for the info I will get right on it. My favorite line from Above The
Law is
He Can't Take Us All. Bang! No But
I Get An A For Effort.
