From my understanding Seagal is supposed to play the bad guy like van Damme did in part 2.
I can´t imagine that Seagal will accept the offer because of his ego.
He would never allow to get his ass kicked in a movie by Stallone.
He was a bad guy in Machete and it didn't end too well for him. If it is good for his career he should do it, he won't get many other better opportunities. From my understanding Seagal is supposed to play the bad guy like van Damme did in part 2.

That would be more than funny....that would be hilariousStill would be great for Seagal to accept the offer, after all he was a decent bad guy in Machete.
If he can't get him, maybe he could call his stunt double and have a few shots of him walking down the street. That would be funny.
Good news. He should play one of the Expendables and not a bad guy. At the beginning of the movie they should kill off Randy Couture and Terry Crews by an old Enemy (Japanese) of Stallone. So Stallone travels to Japan and hires Steven because of his knowledge about the Yakuza...
He will probably play the new villain. And it would be great

I want him to be a good guy (an old friend of Barney Ross from Asia). He helps the EX team. I want Seagal to kill a lot of henchman in aikido style!!
Indeed
Wont happen. There are also focus on a lot of other action stars in the movie so the focus on Seagal will not be that big if he plays one of The Expendables. But the focus on him would be a lot better and bigger if he plays the lead bad guy ..
