Yes, it is for EX3. Stallone finishen the script and is busy with the casting right now. He contacted Snipes and Rourke. They are in. It seems Sly is giving Seagal one last chance. I hope he accepts...

I am wonderen what happened. I mean, first Sly says ' no Seagal' and after three months he calls him again. It seems Sly really wants Seagal. I think he really has written a role for him. And with shooting in Asia he maybe can convince Seagal...

Still would be great for Seagal to accept the offer, after all he was a decent bad guy in Machete.

If he can't get him, maybe he could call his stunt double and have a few shots of him walking down the street. That would be funny.

From my understanding Seagal is supposed to play the bad guy like van Damme did in part 2.
I can´t imagine that Seagal will accept the offer because of his ego.
He would never allow to get his ass kicked in a movie by Stallone.

It is still a good possibility

Stallone is known for being able to convince even the most stubborn person

He was a bad guy in Machete and it didn't end too well for him. If it is good for his career he should do it, he won't get many other better opportunities.

Good news. He should play one of the Expendables and not a bad guy. At the beginning of the movie they should kill off Randy Couture and Terry Crews by an old Enemy (Japanese) of Stallone. So Stallone travels to Japan and hires Steven because of his knowledge about the Yakuza...

Steven also needs a bar fight in EX3. In his early movies it was some kind of a trademark.

I want him to be a good guy (an old friend of Barney Ross from Asia). He helps the EX team. I want Seagal to kill a lot of henchman in aikido style!!

Wont happen. There are also focus on a lot of other action stars in the movie so the focus on Seagal will not be that big if he plays one of The Expendables. But the focus on him would be a lot better and bigger if he plays the lead bad guy ..

You got a point there, but then he has to put his ego aside. IF he is the bad guy it means he will get beating the shit out of him by Sly. I have never seen Seagal being beaten up in a movie...
