I don't know what your problems are :=))

I just cleared the cookies and all the temporary internet files ... then came here and restarted the page, and refreshed it ... and I don't see the broken images or the copyrighted images instead of the actual covers ... maybe my eyes are seeing things they're not supposed to be :D ... but mind you, I'm not sleep typing yet :D

www.videoguide.ru advertisements is all I see. Who knows, maybe your computer has some specification ours doesnt? Possible. I dont know for sure, but the "RED X" comes from certain sites. For instance, I had trouble taking images from imdb earlier (remember the "Executive Decision" posters) I had to find it somewhere else and re-edit it for it to work.

I don't still don't see what you see.

I don't see what I should be trying to fix if there's no problem on my end and I don't know what the problem is on your end since I'm not there. So I don't know what it is or how it is that I'm supposed to work on. It's OK ... if you don't see these, they're not fancy covers. They look just like the American ones but with the english translated.

If memory serves me correctly, the reason Seagal wasn't in the US poster for the film was because Warner Bros. were losing faith in him (Under Siege 2 had come out the past summer and flopped) and thought it was better to let Kurt Russell carry the film (He'd had back to back hits Tombstone and Stargate), however, in other countries, Seagal was still a big name so that's why you see him airbrushed INTO other posters. I've seen both posters for EXEC DEC side by side and Seagal is indeed the airbrushed character, not Russell. If you look closely, the photo of Steven is actually a drawing.

Executive Decision

There were basically two different ones made for different markets - the one without him was used in Executive Decision, the one for pretty much everywhere else has him on it. I have a UK poster of the film and he's on it.

Inrteresting that they cut out Seagal from the poster... a real shame since thats one of his best roles and performances ever.. because unlike most of his films where hes the lead character hes annoying, bullying and self-righteous ,going around killing everyone who dares oppose his "ideals" and gives 5-cent wisdoms like "What does it take to change the essence of a man?" after beating someone to within inches of his death... and enjoying it. But his performance in "Executive Desicion" is extremely good, believable and well acted. For shame.

What are you saying ... LOL ...

"because unlike most of his films where hes the lead character hes annoying, bullying and self-righteous ,going around killing everyone who dares oppose his "ideals" and gives 5-cent wisdoms like "What does it take to change the essence of a man?" after beating someone to within inches of his death... and enjoying it."

The guy with the 'big guns' in "On Deadly Ground" insulted and beat on a Native man who was helpless ... so Seagal helped him out and at the same time taught the bully a lesson ... bullying a bully is the only way those bullies will learn. So if you think that practically of all Seagal's movies portray him as annoying, why do you watch him? ... or is it your thing to be attracted to such 'annoying' people? ... That 5-cent wisdom is Seagal's trademark: the 2-cents come from his philosophies, the other 2-cents come from his aikido skills, and the remaining 1-cent is his dedication to his fans through continual release of action films. Seagal was great in Executive Decision but his unexpected, sudden death as a character was never clearly explained by the production team ... and that's what I didn't like about it.

Steven Seagal is very popular in Russia ... so I found it strange him being absent from a russian poster of Executive Decision.

Seagal

Nicely put Yudansha, we're thinking more and more alike every day! In my last post I meant to say that the Executive Decision poster without him was for the American market and pretty much everywhere else had him on it beside Kurt Russell. It look bad too as there's a huge gap at one side where it's obvious someone once appeared. Though I do like Kurt Russell in a few films (Unlawful Entry, Big Trouble in Little China, Tango and Cash), if he had died and left Seagal to save the day, Executive Decision would have been a real kick-ass movie.

What are you saying? Is Executive Decision your favorite Seagal movie? You criticised all his characters in all other movies. How could you possibly be a fan based on "Executive Decision" alone. It's a good film, but he is barely in it.

Every celebrity needs their own 'thing'

And I guess that's one of Seagal's ... kind of like The Rock's eye-brow thing - Steven Seagal has his own expression. They should patent these. :D
