Gosh, I remember "The Master". Wasn't Vince Van Patten the young 'un who became his sidekick? I loved that series, and was devastated when it was cancelled.

I honestly don't remember the name of the actor who played Van Cleef's sidekick. I used to watch the show when I was like 14 or 15, I enjoyed it because it had plenty of ninja intrigue and action (ninjas are super cool when you're a kid).

Although in hindsight I've got a sneaky suspicion that if I actually saw an episode of it today with "adult eyes", I wouldn't be so impressed and would probably be quite critical of the 1980s cheese factor...
