Steven should change his look

Hollywood actors are always changing their appearance, but Seagal has remained the pretty much same throughout his career.

I would like to see him get a trainer to help him drop some weight and get into better shape. I want to see the lean and mean guy from "Above the Law" again. He should change his hair, too. Maybe a short buzz cut? Maybe a goatee?

What do you guys think?

SS as a mean-lean guy again!

Maybe shave him bald and make him look like Bruce Willis!

That reminds me, it's time I get a haircut. :D

I would die for the jacket he wear in "On deadly ground". So totaly Indian chic style.

He's cool in jeans and a blck shirt but if a had a scissor I would cut a little piece of his ponytail, "Under Siege" long, that's enough.

It's up to Steven if he changes his appearance or anything

Of course it's up to him. We should all be ourself and only change if we feel like it.
Steven and all good people are just fine.

I'm with you Shawn, though it looks like he is on the right track.

If I'd know him, i.e. he was a friend of mine I really wouldn't mind how he looks. But as I enjoy watching his movies I of course prefer him being a bit on the slimmer side. He's an actionstar after all. If he could make performances like De Niro it wouldn't matter (at least no Marlon Brando size please). But he's (movie-speaking) dependent on his looks. Even more so as an action star. At least Exit Wounds size would be appropriate.

I agree, in Exit wounds he was perfect, he ditched all them crappy red indian clothes he had taken to wearing, and just got back to basics, he even had the ponytail off, then as quickly as he had made a comeback, he made Ticker and completly went in the wrong direction. I just don't know what happened, and i don't really think whatever he does now, we won't see the glory days of Steven Seagal again, wether it on the big screen or DVD.

At least we can watch his old movies and remember what he was like.

Why not be optimistic and give him a good piece of friendly advice instead of hammering the nails into the coffin?

Well, as far as I know Ticker was shot before Exit Wounds. What bothered me was Out For A Kill (Haven's seen Foreigner, but apparently it's just as bad.) Belly of the Beast I hear is a step in the right direction. From the Trailer I'd say I agree, though it seems to "mystic" for me.

All my hopes go to Clementine (which looks f*cking incredible) and Out to the Sun, which could be good (let's wait for the Trailer).

But on the other hand he's got a movie lined up with "creatures" in an U-Boot? Man, that's Van Damme stuff, not for Seagal...It's hard to believe that Steven can't find good Screenplays.... With a good Screenplay the Budget wouldn't really matter. I for one don't need fancy cars blowing up. Give me Seagal twisting some bones and a reasonable plot and it's alright. I want to see Steven in something gritty as Out For Justice again..... In my eyes, that's one of the best Actionmovies ever.

For you it might sound like bashing but some of us agree on the fact, that Steven' not perfect. But still we're fans and only would love to see Seagal kicking ass like in the old days. Which is unlikely looking at his recent track record. Plus some of the movies that apparently are on the line. Looking at those it's hard to see Seagalmovies gaining quality for a longer term.

But it all comes down to money ... profits.

If there isn't much 'fancy' stuff in the movie, it won't be much successful.
Yes, Out For Justice was good, but times have changed, and the public might not accept such a movie as well (although I'd welcome it with open arms).

LOL and it's "Into The Sun" ... not "Out ..." :D
