Steven spotted in N.O.

The interview was on MSNBC "Rita Cosby Live and Direct" on cable. It was "live" last night and I personally saw it and TAPED IT later when it was re-aired (not "live") again at midnight. I'll try to transcribe it sometime soon. Rita Cosby has been an ongoing reporter in the hurricane Katrina news. She has interviewed a lot of people, I just happened to catch her when Steven was on!
Steven was actually very low-key and trying to not be "in the limelight". He looked ready to get down to business with the SWAT team.
I'm not saying anything about anyone here, I was just conveying the news that I thought you all would be glad to hear. It would be nice of MSNBC would put the interview on their website. I haven't had time to check it yet but will soon.
I got the impression from Steven that he was in New Orleans to HELP and not show off his celebrity status. Humility is sometimes mistaken for arrogance.
Meanwhile, ya'll take care ... it is raining cats and dogs here and I've got to sign off and shut down the computer.

If he's there now, good on him; but I still haven't seen anything posted on the news, so until suzi finds pictures, for me, it's still a rumour.

First of all, no one called you a jerk. We merely disagreed with the incorrect information you posted at the time.

Secondly, at the time you posted, Steven was definitely not in New Orleans, he was in still Romania.

Thirdly, taking credit for the fact that having posted what was merely a rumour at the time but with him there now is, however, jerk-worthy behaviour. I am sure you don't intend to come across that way, do you?

The news interview did not center on Steven's acting career - it was about him helping the SWAT team and his friend. They didn't really go into detail on a timetable about where/when, etc. The main thing is he is in New Orleans to help. Aside from being an action star, he is also a Human Being.

I saw Sheriff Lee on MSNBC being interviewed, standing beside him was actor Steven Seagal. According to the Sheriff, Seagal trained his swat team.

Seagal was wearing law-enforcement garb badge and all, apparently armed as well.

Steven was standing there with his arms crossed looking like he was ready to put a serious hurting on somebody.

If you have the time and patience to trawl through Google, then you will find a couple of articles about Seagal in New Orleans. However, none of them appear to be in English and there are no photographs.

yeah I know I have a time ... I tried all search engines.. and you are right no pohto !!
Also I research msn videos but I couldn't find any results about Jefferson Parish Sheriff H. Lee and Steven.. He is there for help to victims.. there is very dangerous place and he is under the risk..
and press doesn't interest with him..
I hate from this !!! :mad:

How do we know that when this thread was originally created, Seagal was in Romania? Did anyone see him there? He may well have been in Romania and this thread could have been entirely fiction, but he could have instructed his 'people' not to let the press or the public know that he had left Romania for New Orleans. Maybe he flew there for a day and then flew back to Romania? For such a 'prophetic' thread, it certainly is odd that this story of him being spotted in NO is now being corroborated by various different internet sources. The people who doubted this rumour, myself included may have had reason to at first, but since when is their word the law? And as for not calling the guy who originally started this rumour a jerk - you are correct, he was actually called a "stupid jerk". How nice.

May be you are right he turned Romania Glimmerman..
I found an Romanian article today from the Romanian Newspapers and in there it was mentioned about Steven and Macedonia ..
But our Romanian members doesn't translate this yet !!

Yes exactly he was in Romania because we have photos.. and he went to NO after September 9 or 10... NO DOUBT !!!!!!

I see, Suzi. We have pictures, but he still maybe could have left Romania for a day and headed to his homeland, the USA. I guess we will never know for certain, as there appears to be little, if any news in English about it. One thing is for sure though, he is a mysterious guy.

BTW, another Hurricane and name is Ophelia is coming the same area..
its too bad.. I hope God helps people of there..
