Still our Man

I have to say that in Steven's bio last night, that I was impressed with what they were saying about his martial arts skills. Everyone that saw what he could do was extremely impressed with him.One guy said that his hands were so fast that they had to actually get him to slow down for the cameras, so that the audience would be able to see all the action. The same guy said that he wouldn't want those same fast hands on him either.:D
Studying Sensei's style of Aikido, I have NO doubts about his abilities or status in Aikido. I truly believe he has earned his ranking!!!
As for the man himself, he just gets better with age like a fine wine.:D:D
Take care

Steven Seagal is great!

Like many masters, the motions are so fluent to the practitioner that speed is not a factor to them. Jet Li, like Steven Seagal is also a quick moving martial artist (many of the action moves during the movie production had to be slowed down by over 3X just to get an idea of the technique being used). Impressive nonetheless.

Hand Slap ODG

Okay
you've seen him do it with the idiot that called him "cupcake" in ODG, what is that you ask ...whats his point? Opponant puts his hands above Stevens (thats as close as you wanna get right there/his hands are HUGE at 12.5 ring)

and he has to slap your first if he does he gets to take a shot at you if youre still standing (doubtful) hell do it again and if he gets you first again he gets another shot and after a couple of those he usually makes his point.(he will not play this with women good call Steven) (says he doent want to injure or break bones on women) men less likely to and just bad form he thinks buddhist training
also a factor they dont condone harming (imagine my relief) can you imagine being punched by someone his size plus a 7th Dan?) women, children or even an insect (some guy killed a fly in front of Steven once he glared at him and left shaking his head)
I see his point all things have a right to be or they would not be in buddhist doctrine, you have not the right to kill or destroy an animal or creature just because you dont like it doesnt mean it cant BE somewhere else.

In thailand they have a different meaning for mouse traps called humane traps it only captures them and they realease them elsewhere on a farm that uses them for food for sacred temple snakes. gov does not allow re release of vermin cause of plague threat so the temple snake is a way around the punishment of destroying a mouse its okay to pay respects to the snake and its an offering by the laymen since the priests wont get involved it solves the rat and mice problem. which could be an epidemic in such a crowded land if they didnt have this system.

so as is said in buddhist doctrine everything has a right to be, therefore if youre gonna kill for sport dont take Steven with you.

"It's not alright! ... It's ... aaight!"

Well, next time I go hunting I'll remember not to give Steven a call for an invitation. He can just cook that food for some great BBQ ... and Tora can supply the cake for dessert.
