Yes, around where i live we have what they call "wildlife centres" were alot of sick or injured animals like wombats, birds,kangaroo's,etc go to be healed back to health sadly some are that traumatised they are never realised and they become permanent residents where they are..and they are very well looked after and the baby ones that are hand raised are for teaching purposes
to the public ...like if you see animal on the side of the road ALWAYS stop and check if there is any babies in the dead or injured mother's pouch ..yes i know how kids can be ...

A guy she has a crush on is big into wombats. Sooooo.....she likes them now too. They look like a woodchuck to me.
A couple of months ago we went down the road to find a box of kittens sitting there, very hungry and scared. We kept them for a few weeks then people came and asked if we had any kittens up for adoption. To a good home each one went. I had a waiting list to give kittens away this year. very unusual. usually I have to put the free kitten sign up first to thin out our farm cat population.

Iam still awake its way to hot to sleep so thought i would come back and chit chat for abit..maybe i should go "skinny dipping"..been there done that not that exciting i want something more daring...were iam tonight we had an small bush fire in the hills more then likely lit on purpose..some jerks just got no brains...its so queit outside for an friday night and you could hear an pin drop...enough chit chat here iam off to check out other threads..
