Serena have you heard of Boz Skaggs he had a song a few(maybe 20) years back, not sure the name "Why can't you get it through your head it over now" !
He was with the Steven Miller Band for awhile then went out on his own had a few good hits, but this was my fav and I can't find the lyrics! Do you know anything about him?

I've definitely heard of Boz Scaggs, but I can't say I'm really familiar with his music. Here's the song you mentioned, and also a link to his own website. His biography and filmography looked interesting at a glance. Some of the song titles sounded familiar, but I'd need to hear them with the music to see if I remembered them. He's still apparently releasing albums, with his last one in 2004.

Now tell me the truth: Is anyone's weather anywhere in the world as weird as Michigan?

In two weeks we've had 23 inches of snow. Yesterday it got up to 60 degrees--almost unthinkable in January in Michigan--and it got so foggy in the middle of the afternoon that there were 100 cars involved in pile-ups in a short stretch of the I-96 expressway and 50 cars in one pile-up on another expressway in Michigan.

Today it's pouring rain, 60 degrees, all the snow has completely melted, and now there are flood warnings for many areas in Michigan.

And tonight they're expecting snow, with 1-2 inches by morning.

Now, can anyone top that?

What am I wearing? A pair of sweats, favorite music, well I love country first, easy romantic listening music second and my favorite food is steak and baked potato w/sour cream, good white wine, or cold beer. My favorite clothes are my Levis and boots. Today I'm still walking on cloud nine. Here in the state where I live, I've worked for 2 1/2 years to get a new bill passed by the state and it did 1/3/05 to go into law right then. It was a bill for grandparents visitistion. I'm a children's advocate. I'm also writing a book on what men and women find sexy.

That's great about the grandparents' visitation! Two of my siblings have been divorced, but fortunately have a great relationship with their ex-wives, so visitation was never a problem. But I know my mother would have been devastated if she couldn't have visited her grandchildren any more. Congratulations to you!

I heard so many comments about him, that I decideced to write a book on what you find sexy in the opposite sex. The same questions are being ask of both men and women. For instance, what first attracted you to your mate? What are the qualifications that you look for in a man (woman)? How much does sex have to do with your relationship? Let me tell you, some of the answers that i am getting, are something else. I'm finding that you guys will talk to me, but not your partner. The news is out on the book and I'm hoping to finish it soon and from what I'm hearing, I just may have a good selling book.The book is written almost completely based on the comments of the people I talk with and sometimes, even my face is red.

Serena, the new law is for the state that we both live in. It's a shame that it had to have a law, but, I'm thankful that the Gov. saw fit to sign the bill into law, she also signed a new law that I worked on, that give the state more power to look into returning a child to abusive parents. I won't live enough years to see our children's rights protected, but perhaps someone can take up where I leave off. So I'm one of hundreds of thousands of people who were effected and I just happen to be one who does not give up. I think this thread is great, we can get to know each other better.

If so, I wanted a well education husband with a high IQ, because I wanted children and wanted to give them the best future that time and money would allow. I was attracted to my husband and did love him at one time. Now it is a take care of our boys relationship. They were put first over everything and that is how we got lost in your marriage. No regrets I got what I wanted!

I like tall dark and handsome, the complete oppsosite of what I married. But i have never ran out on my husband. I have honor our vows!! Yes Steven would be the idea man.
Not only in looks but the way he carries himself and his beliefs. I don't believe the rumor mills on him. I judge what I see. I love music and with some of his songs he is making a statement. I like that

Heather I don't think I could cut my hair that short. It has taken me to long to get it to where I want it. It took 2 years just to grow out my bangs.
Serena we are having the same problem with the weather here to. 62 yesterday, 2 degrees today with snow. Hell we just got rid of all the snow we had from the rain yesterday. When will this stop OH that's right I live just outside of Chicago, can't count on decent weather during the winter.
