Unleased Box Office In Take.

US Boxoffice : During the 4-day Memorial Weekend Unleashed dropped to No.8 spot with collecting $2,348,000 dropping 43.1% from last weekend gross. The total gross for the Jet Li actioner now stands to $21,499,000 in 18 days.

International Boxoffice :

Portugal : Unleashed opened well in Portugal , it managed to get the best debut among the six new releases with grossing $77,122 on its first week , it currently stands at No.3 at the Portuguese boxoffice.

Hong Kong : With four new releases Unleashed fell to No.10 at the Hong Kong boxoffice with a total gross of $443,496 in 18 days.

Germany : On its second week (May 19-22) Unleashed dropped 66% from last week with collecting $430,058 at the German boxoffice, taking its total to $2,091,811 in 14 days.

New Jet Li Film!- Legend Of A Fighter!!

Legend of a Fighter New Shooting Location - 1st.June.05

According to Sina.com, the production of Legend of a Fighter (tentative title) will soon move to the mountains in Xiaju County of Zhejiang Province, south of Shanghai. An unknown number of houses, waterwheel and paths have been built and the production team will soon arrive at Xiaju, which literally means "residence of the immortal". Legend of a Fighter Casting Update & Current Shooting Status - 31st.May.05

According to producer Li Xiao Wei, 10 wushu champions including Yu Cheng Hui, Ji Chun Hua, Jewel Li Fei, who is also a Miss Macau beauty pageant winner have joined the cast of Legend of a Fighter (tentative title) it is being also said Ngai Sing and former WWE superstar Nathan Jones have also a part to play in the movie , however Ngai Sing's part is not known at the moment and Nathan Jones and five Thai actors are expected to portray the role of foreign fighters.

The movie has moved location from Shanghai's Chedun to Shengqiang Soundstage, on which Huo Yuan Jia's home Moon-Reaching Mansion was built. Security is tight as usual. They have been doing night shoot over the past few days, working for over 10 hours since 5 pm, filming eight scenes per night. ( Source: Wu-Jing.org )

Unleashed DVD Release Date!!

According to Davisdvd.com Unleashed will be available to own on DVD from 11th October this year (not September 20,2005 which is being previously reported) . The DVD will arrive in separate R-rated and unrated editions, each with 2.5 anamorphic transfers, DTS Surround and Dolby Digital 5.1 tracks (the R-rated version will also be available in a fullscreen edition). Extras will include deleted scenes, an interview with director Louis Leterrier, a "Serve No Master" fight sequence featurette, a "The Collar Comes Off" behind-the-scenes featurette and two music videos. Retail is $29.98. A UMD version will be available as well minus extras.

Japanese actor Shidou Nakamura is set to play a Judo champion, who will meet the challenge from Huo Yuanjia, played by Jet Li. Reportedly, the cast will also include Michelle Yeoh, Collin Chou, and another Japanese actor Masato Harada. ( Source: Monkeypeaches.com )

Saw Dannt The Dog last night!!!!

Well Jet Li's Danny The Dog wasnt going to be released in Denmark.. but at the filmfestival last night at 00.00 pm they showed the French version with English Languagetrack & French subtitles. It is awesome, I was glad that I had this 1 chance to see it at the cinema.

Brilliant acting from all of them & hardcore, bonecrushing fightscenes (the best I have ever seen in an Jet Li film) The storyline was allso much better put in the script than I expected, so I was totaly surprised when I left the cinema. It allso said Danny The Dog on the screen when the film started & not Unleashed as it said on my ticket. :greensmile: I cant wait to see the Unrated dvd October 11th

Yea, that was a superb movie Mason. It was very underated box office wise here in the U.S. It got amazing critical reviews but it did not do that well in terms of money wise.

Anyway only a couple more weeks till the DVD comes out, can't wait to buy it and see it again.
