The ponytail makes a comeback

Thanks for this article, Leon! This is the most information we've seen at one time in a long while. While it's obvious the author of this piece isn't particularly crazy about Steven, it's still very intertesting, basically confirming what we've already heard about the scheduled filming of Submerged and Mercenary, and the discussions with Warner Brothers about Under Siege 3. And also your "prediction" that Into the Sun will be coming to theaters. We can only hope!

Nice find, Leon! :)

That's good news... I think. They do say that Submerged and Mercenary, despite being Franchise pictures, are going to be stv.

Thanks, Leon!

Very welcome. It's just a shame the 'scooper' didn't give more info in terms of Into The Sun co stars etc.Good to hear it will be a return to the old school style films of Under Siege,Hard To Kill etc:).

In regards to Submerged & Mercenary,I always thought they were just intended for dtv release.

Peace,
Leon

Of course now is the time for a Seagal comeback! How can you be so surprised?! He is going to be back in the public eye again, and this article, along with the commercial prove it. I would like to see Seagal in the 5 or 6 projects he has left, then maybe an under siege 3, then retire. That way, his films will be remembered for quality, and not just quanity.

Tora, Your funny. I like your humor. Mr. Seagal is the only guy that I can think of that has a ponytail I have seen and not felt compelled to sneak up behind and cut it off! He actually looks pretty good with one.

Cut it off? Well, I know what you mean, I normally don't go for them either, but even with it, he's so dignified, and he has a lot of class, he wears it so well, and it gives him that slightly dangerous, and rebellious edge...I think the headscarf is a tough, sexy look too...But the thing is, is that he's both tough guy and sensitive and artistic, wow, I can't say enough about him...I like all of his looks, and they do vary, which is fine by me, because there is a lot more to him than that...:) He sure is something...

No arguments here. (not that I am looking for one). I am not confrontational anyway. Not my style.

mm hmmm

Now lotussan how do you know he might just like that, he does like to play especially with women. He might let you play with his ponytail women seem attracted to it , I like it looks good on HIM.

I hate to see the balding 60 yr old wanna bes that do that (not bikers) just old but Stevens got class and he can do that well. Course I like all 6'4 of him but he is A BIG BIG MAN. I bet he is a great Sensei might say a man you could look up to on the mat or off.

There is NO WAY I would ever get on the mat with HIM and Im almost a black belt myself..nuff said.
