The Rickson Gracie & Steven Seagal Pic, (Rare & Unseen.)

As I was flipping through Rickson's amazing portfolio and read numerous magazine artciles by Blackbelt and other martial art magazines all claiming him to be the greatest Mixed Martial Art fighter of all time haveing over 460 fights with no loss I saw numerous pictures of Rickson and promos etc.. But there was one picture that made my eyes pop out, it was a picture of Steven Seagal next to Rickson Gracie. There were two different pictures and I wanted to know if any one has seen them.

The first one was Sugar Ray Lenoard next to Steven Seagal then Rickson standing next to Seagal and Billy Blanks next to Rickson. They were all wearing a black and blue jeans execpt Seagal wearing black jeans and the orange red and black Fire Down Below jacket and showed a side of a boxing ring and they all signed their signatures with their names below. The second one was the same thing but each had a kid standing infront of them.

These pictures were a 1996 or 1997 DARE (Drug Abuse Resistance Education) Promotional picture.

Just wondering if any of you guys have seen this pic. I will try to do my best to find it and post it here while if any of you guys have it or want to find it please be free to post it.


I am still trying to find it, anyone else seen it already?


I went to the DARE site and the pic is published in the DARE Champions book but I have to be a police officer to enter because I have to enter the username password and badge number etc..

I will still try to find it because I know none of you guys on this site has seen this pic.

It might be interesting what Rickson said about Seagal in an interview:

"Q: I wanted to know your opinion about Jean-Claude Van Damme, Steven Seagal.

A (RG): There is no doubt that both of them picked the right moment to enter the big movie industry; they have their merits. I think that Jean-Claude Van Damme is good looking, and he really took advantage of the right moment-and won. Steven Seagal already innovated a lot in the action scenes. Instead of using those roundhouse kicks that Bruce Lee and Van Damme use, he began to enter with a little ore contact in the action scenes, with more locks and throws. He became much more visual, much more realistic. He really obtained an excellent effect in the movies, which explains his success."

Well it seems than following that guy (or girl), Steven seagal is better than jean claude Van damme!

Haha yes, LittleD, that would be cool. How come Gracie hasnt gone into the movie business? I think he could definitley make a lot of money doing Van Damme tournament style movies, even if they were only DTV.

One of the reasons is because they say they are not movie actors, they are rather martial artists who want to test themselves in combat.


In other words... I have no clue. :D
