Top 10 Best Movie Lines Ever

Sometimes when the words are just perfect, a single movie line is the most memorable part of the film. It lingers in your the mind. And then you use it in everyday conversation. And then...it becomes one of the best movie lines ever.

Odeon Cinemas conducted a survey of its nearly 100 complexes in the United Kingdom to rank these special lines from movies. You've probably heard every one of these--even if you didn't see the movie. These all happen to be parting shots. Maybe that's why they're so memorable and a part of everyday speech.

Top 10 best movie lines ever are...
1. "I'll be back."
The Terminator (1984)

2. "Frankly my dear, I don't give a damn."

Good grief. *Those* are the top ten? Pretty dull, most of them, hardly memorable at all. I'm surprised #2 wasn't number 1, though.

Let's see if I can come up with one or two to add to the list.

1. "I just threw your stinkin' palm tree overboard, now, what's all this crud about no movie tonight?" Ensign Pulver in Mr. Roberts.

2. "Go ahead... make my day." Harry Callahan (forgotten the movie title). I can't believe this one didn't make the list....

Anybody else?

:D

You've got to ask yourself a question: Do I feel lucky? Well do ya, Punk?---Eastwood(Dirty Harry)
I also agree with the one from Sudden Impact--"Go ahead, make my day!--Eastwood.
One thought he was invincible, the other thought he could fly-They were both wrong-Seagal, of course(Marked for Death)

You just made number 4 on the most wanted list..(Seagal)-Number 4? I wanna be number 1..Above the Law..

"It dont look like your gonna be waking up happy to me"--Glimmerman.

I'll be Back--Arnie-a definate memorable line.
Mrs. (---------), are you trying to seduce me? Dustin Hoffman-The Graduate.

Glimmer, you are da man!

Number 5 - the Jaws quote - of course! <slaps forehead>

However, I think the Robert de Niro quote is, "Are you lookin' at me? Are you *lookin'* at me?" (He's talking to himself in the mirror - just saw Scorcese on the Actor's Studio, that's why I remember it)

Oh, here's one more to add:

"Yo, Adrian!" Sylvester Stallone, Rocky.

Actually, the "I'll be back." is one that actually made the list...But that James bond one was such a classic line...Looks like I got the Clint Eastwood one wrong so wrong  But it's a really good one, anyway...:D
