1 - obviously, his martial arts skills, and all his tricks
He may be less spectacular than Jet Li or Jackie Chan, but he's efficient and his fighting style is more realistic.
2 - he looks like someone very dangerous when he's angry, for real, not an actor trying to look dangerous, steven seagal is dangerous. He won't only punch you or kick you, he'll f**k you up beyond repair and break any bones you have left
3 - the way he holds a gun, even when he's fallen, he's still aiming where he's looking at.
I loved the way he explained how to hold a gun in Under Siege 2
4 - but he's also charming and seems to be a nice guy
I like to see him with a friend, a partner or his family in his movies.
He's got a great sense of humor, he was very funny in Exit Wounds
5 - him and his charisma, his glance, his clothes
Well he looks great, although I must admit that he's getting old and could loose some weight
6 - his ponytail I don't miss it, but it was a trademark of his
7 - the music in his movies. Some of them got great music. James Newton Howard for "Marked for Death"
but I *love* the Under Siege 2 music, I can't get it outside my head. It's one of the best I've ever heard.
8 - his "lines", I'm glad I bought some DVDs because I had to watch dubbed version on french tv and in theaters .
"Nobody beats me in the kitchen"
But I still watch his movies in both english and french, I can enjoy the same movie in two different versions !
9 - Most of his movie titles both the english and french ones
wanna know what his movies are called in France ?
Under Siege => Piège en Haute Mer = High Seas Trap
Under Siege 2 => Piège à Grande Vitesse = High Speed Trap
The Foreigner => L'Affaire Van Haken = The Van Haken Affair
